Hello, welcome to my podcast about Alexander the Great, i am Michalis, together we are going to analyse the life of Alexander the Great. We have a ton to talk about, at the age of 30 Alexander had conquered 2/3 of the known world. He had the equally great Aristotle as a tutor, he was born in Pella, that is, was and forever be Greek. 24. Alexander ventures North
We are in 336. Alexander travels too Delphi to ask Pythia how his Persian campaign will go.
Afterwards, he will head north to avenge some of his father's defeats.

20. The Philippeion
Phillip order a temple to be build, to us know as the Philippeion. He tried to find a wife for his special needs son, Aridaious, but Alexander messes it up for him, and we finish with Phillip finding a seventh wife, Cleopatra.

This is a spectacular podcast!
Everyone talks about Alexander and how great he was - but no one really *talks* about Alexander The Great. This podcast is the shining exception! you won’t find a better podcast than this about the most impactful and romanticised historical person in history. Michalis does far more than give you a thorough and detailed overview of Alexander and Phillips life - the land of Macedonia and the Ancient Greek world. He’s from Greece, speaks Greece and breathes Greece, and will give you an unmatched perspective you won’t find anywhere else, not to mention very funny and passionate. You can tell he does the research too, you’re bound to learn something you didn’t know beforehand! I look forward to many more episodes in the future! - Much love from Australia
