Ep 33: The Tin Foil Hat Chat with Emily

In this powerful Women of Community episode, Ebony sits down with Emily Lenore to unpack her journey from chronic gut illness and corporate burnout to reclaiming her health, freedom, and purpose outside the traditional system. Emily shares how years of stress in a high-pressure corporate job led to severe IBS, SIBO, chronic pain and brain fog  and how being dismissed by the Western medical system pushed her to take her health into her own hands. Through naturopathy, nutrition, circadian rhythm alignment, stress reduction and lifestyle changes, Emily spent two years healing her gut from the inside out. From there, the conversation expands into the bigger picture questioning the narratives we’ve been sold about work, health, success and “normal” life. Emily explains how stepping away from the 9–5, building an online business, and using technology intentionally allowed her to reduce stress, regain autonomy, and create a life that actually supports wellbeing. Together, Ebony and Emily explore topics often left out of mainstream conversations: circadian rhythm, grounding, blue light, EMFs, food quality, pesticides, farmed vs wild-caught food, water quality, and why modern convenience often comes with hidden costs to our health. Emily breaks these ideas down in a practical, empowering way focusing on small, manageable changes rather than fear or perfection. The episode also touches on spirituality, plant medicine experiences, community, and the importance of using information to feel empowered not overwhelmed. Emily reminds listeners that you don’t need to change everything overnight; real transformation happens through small, conscious choices made consistently. This episode is an invitation to question the narrative, take back control of what you can control, and build a life and health that actually works for you.   🔗 Connect with Me Instagram: @alignyourself.podcast Tag me: @iam.ebonyrose 🔗 Connect with Emily Instagram: @emilylenoreofficial 🔗Pesticide Reel:  https://www.instagram.com/reel/DOnm3tACVHs/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Ep 30: Exploring Holistic Psychology & Plant Medicine with Emma from EG Psychology

In this episode, I’m joined by Emma Goodfellow, psychologist and founder of EG Holistic Psychology, for an honest conversation about motherhood, identity, and healing. We explore how becoming a mother especially after your second child can unravel everything you thought you had figured out and invite you to meet yourself again.   We talk about the pressure to be “put together,” the tension between being present for your children while still wanting a full, joyful life, and the guilt that can come with wanting both. This episode touches on the exhaustion of living up to expectations  online and offline and the importance of allowing yourself to change without shame.   Emma shares her journey through conventional psychology and why she now weaves holistic and alternative modalities into her work. We discuss why feeling safe, seen, and truly heard is at the core of healing, and why people don’t need fixing they need space to be human.   This conversation is for anyone questioning who they are in this season of life. It’s a reminder that you don’t have to have it all together, you don’t have to live in a box, and you’re allowed to evolve. Healing isn’t about perfection  it’s about honesty. 🔗 Connect with Me Instagram: @alignyourself.podcast Tag me: @iam.ebonyrose 🔗Connect with Emma Goodfellow Instagram: @eg_holistic_psychology Website: www.emmagoodfellowpsychology.com 🛍️ Exclusive Discounts Jacinta Curnow Skin: Get 10% off your consultation (exclusive for my listeners)

Ep 29: Learning Kinesiology with Simone Miller

In this episode of Align Yourself, I sit down with Simone Miller, a kinesiologist with over 20 years of experience, to unpack what kinesiology truly is and why it’s such a powerful tool for healing. Simone breaks down muscle testing, frequency medicine, the body’s innate wisdom, and how physical symptoms are often rooted in emotional or energetic imbalances long before they show up in the physical body. We explore how unresolved emotions, childhood experiences, toxins, mold, heavy metals, and even intergenerational trauma can shape the nervous system and contribute to ongoing issues like eczema, anxiety, recurring sickness, hormonal imbalances, and behavioural challenges in kids. Simone explains how kinesiology “asks the body directly,” revealing information most people would never find through standard tests making the healing process more precise, intuitive, and deeply supportive. Simone also shares her own journey, from intense panic attacks as a teen to discovering kinesiology as the missing link in her healing. She offers practical insight into chakras, energetic blueprints, and self-muscle testing, reminding us that the body is always communicating. This episode is an invitation to reconnect with your body, trust its signals, and learn to support, not suppress, your natural capacity to heal.   🔗 Connect with Me Instagram: @alignyourself.podcast Tag me: @iam.ebonyrose 🔗Connect with Simone Miller Instagram: www.instagram.com/soul.nurturing Website: https://www.soulnurturing.com.au/   🛍️ Exclusive Discounts Jacinta Curnow Skin: Get 10% off your consultation (exclusive for my listeners)

Ep 28: What Every Australian Needs to Know About Digital ID with Mike Holt

In this episode, I sit down with Mike Holt, founder of Common Law, veteran, and long-time advocate for individual rights for an eye-opening conversation about digital ID, government overreach, and what freedom really means in today’s world. We unpack what digital ID actually is, why so many Australians are raising concerns, and how these systems tie into a much bigger push for control, surveillance, and social compliance. Mike breaks down the difference between common law and government-imposed law, how our rights have quietly shifted over the years, and why knowledge  truly understanding where you stand is the most powerful form of protection. He shares how digital ID fits into a global agenda, why social credit systems are a real threat to our future, and why convenience has become the trap so many people willingly step into. We talk about the fear, pressure, and confusion so many felt during COVID, and why so many of us are now questioning what comes next especially for our children. Most importantly, Mike offers practical, grounded steps for protecting your family, standing in your rights, and refusing systems that compromise your freedom. From understanding the power of “I do not consent” to building paper trails, finding alternative ways to operate, and reconnecting with your personal sovereignty this episode is both confronting and empowering. This conversation is a reminder that awareness is the first step, self-belief is the anchor, and collective courage is what creates change. 🔗 Connect with Me Instagram: @alignyourself.podcast Tag me: @iam.ebonyrose 🔗 Connect with Mike Holt Instagram: www.cirnow.com.au and www.mikeholtshow.com 🛍️ Exclusive Discounts Jacinta Curnow Skin: Get 10% off your consultation (exclusive for my listeners)

This is Part Two of my conversation with Liz somatic therapist, counsellor, and trauma specialist. If you haven’t listened to Part One yet, I really encourage you to go back and start there we covered so much around how trauma lives in the body, suppressed emotions, and the power of somatic healing to bring you back into alignment. In Part Two, we go even deeper. Liz and I unpack anxiety, emotional regulation, and relationships from how to work with anxiety instead of fighting it, to why feeling safe in your body changes everything. Liz shares simple, practical tools for nervous system regulation and grounding, and explains why true healing means going beneath the surface gently, at your own pace  to heal what’s really driving the anxiety or fear. We also explore how unhealed wounds play out in our closest relationships  through insecurity, attachment patterns, and even narcissistic dynamics  and how doing the somatic work helps you stop repeating those cycles.
