    Episode 9. It's the holly jolly season and a brand new year. So with the first episode aired for the year, best to get a rising star.   Andre Lew of Playlunch. If you've been paying even a marginal amount of attention to anything music related, you've heard of them, maybe even a whisper. I assure you, these boys know what they're doing and I can wait to see their projects.   But, as for Andre, he isn't merely OF Playlunch. An accomplished saxophonist in his own right, we talk about the intersection of culture, music, and Andre's solo work. We were meant to touch on some WWE but alas, we got carried away.   We also refuse to mention someone, whoever they are, we dont even know them. No free credit.   Anyway.     Episode 8-Tony Clay

    Episode 8   Let me tell you. This man has only just begun to tell his story. Back in March 2025, at a wonder Tote Hotel in Melbourne's northern suburbs, I decided a night of rock, metal, and death vocals was necessary. And Im damn glad I made that choice. Taking the stage to open the night were Vixen Scream, and on guitar and vocals, Tony Clay.   From the first riff to the last chord, Vixen Scream and Tony Clay brought thumping sounds and headbanging galore to the stage and its audience. For only their second gig as Vixen Scream, I was completely blown away. Over the next few months it was great to see the band continue to grow and now, finally, we get to chat.   Tune in and enjoy!   Anyway...    Recorded on 13th December 2025 at the State Library of Victoria.     Episode 7-Sorcha Wilcox of Aardvark & F.L.Y!

    Episode 7.   There are teachers, then there are Professors.   When I first started this photographic journey, Aardvark were one of the first bands I photogrpahed. Hitting up the guitar with a Flying V garbed in leather and metal stood the band and on stage right, Sorcha Wilcox. I've such a huge amount of respect for Sorcha and her relentless drive and to top it all off she's a wonderful person and I've enjoyed many a chat with her pre and post gig!   Now we get to chat about the scene, right in the heart of it.     Episode 6-Liam Wright of F.L.Y!

    Someone, has to be the first. While F.L.Y! was not the first live artist I photographed, they were the first band I shot when I decided this whole photography doodads.   And boy was I hooked. Engaging. Exhilarating. Ecstatic, and wait till I tell you about the music! F.L.Y! certainly know how to put a good ol fashioned Rock n Roll performance out there.   Over the months, I've been thankful to get to know the wonderful people who make the band.     If you have ever been to one of their gigs, you'll know they are anything but quiet.   Jack and Rueben, one half of Quiet Neighbours, the emo-pop-punk-soon-to-add-grunge band that's had a hectic year off the tracks, sit down and tell me about their origins, their approach to music, the scene, and much more.   Often jumping on stage while performing, or riling up the crowd, the guys sit down with me in a subdued setting than we're both used to seeing each other for good ol' chat.   Anyway...    Recorded on 15th November 2025 at the State Library of Victoria.     Episode 4-Ed Vaark of Aardvark

    Episode 4. Months in the making.   Ed was one of the first people I spoke to about coming onto the show. Standing outside a Melbourne institution that is Last Chance Rock and Roll Bar spinning a yarn as mutual friends F.L.Y were launching their debut album, it was pretty clear Ed and I had much to talk about.   Though we barely cover it all we go into the origins of Aardvark, their speedy rise, recent events in the band's life, and Ed's passion for striving to keep live music going.   This won't be the last episode we do together so for now, enjoy.     Episode 3-Jordan & Darby Davis of Achey Peace

    Jordan, Darby, and Harris. Unbound and unbridled by limitations. Achey Peace just is.   Jordan, Darby, and I sit down and chew the fat. I learned alot of them and the band today. Its been great watching them, photographing them, and playing alongside them.   I can't really tell you what it is, so you'll have to listen to it for yourself.     Episode 2-Clint Wilson

    Clint Wilson has seen plenty. Sporting his trademark trucker cap, we sit down to talk about country. What it means to him, the Melbourne scene and its relation to country music. Not only that, we bond over an unlikely band, Korn!    I first saw Clint perform at Freddie Wimpoles in St Kilda after the Grand Prix back in March 2025. The council had organised a music festival all along the esplanade with each venue hosting various artists. In my haste of running up and down the street, I chose to watch Clint because well, when you read a sheet of name, Clint Wilson is pretty damn good one. And here we are.     Episode 1-Jasmin Adria

    Jasmin Adria is a young singer-songwriter from the Surf Coast in Victoria, Australia.   Having first seen her perform at The Curtin for Ruby Mae's album launch, I've invited her to kick off this side project peering into the live music scene of Melbourne,Australia.   Jasmin blends inspiration from grunge to folk into her own indie rock style and her view of the world around her and a voice to send you drifting off to sea.   Also - she's got an amazing, lovely, supportive family.
