I Got Sucked In

Started listening as an Emery fan, then discovered a bright guy who loves to talk and thinks in a way that both inspires me and challenges my perspective. Thanks for going deep on stuff, Matt. And thank you for knowing how stuff works (especially, but not limited to, music).

Insightful and Delightful

I love hearing musicians talking about their gear or what inspires them.
Hearing Emery (Matt and Toby mainly, but even hearing Dave's thoughts on EP2) talk about what inspires them, how they write, how they record and even how they view their own talents (Toby's plumber voice vs Devin's choir boy voice) really adds both insight into how the band works, but also how they relate to each other as musicians.
I've loved every episode so far and hope Matt is able to find the time to continue after the all the tracks on the most Emery album are done. It would even be great to go back and hear about older albums, especially The Weak's End since it was their first album and hindsight usually gives us a lot more insight and funny stories.
Keep it up! Can't wait for EP7.
