A very enjoyable podcast that is consistently detailed in its review of both popular and less well known British science-fiction television productions both old and new. The format, a two-person discussion, offers UK and north American perspectives. The presenters are enthusiastic, knowledgeable and have an appreciation for the qualities that make UK science-fiction television so enduring. In particular they concentrate on the wonderful scripts, characters and ideas rather than the special effects (although as the reviewers often point out some visual effects are quite disturbing and enduring). British Invaders reviews have prompted me to look into several wonderful television productions that I had previously missed or overlooked. The presenters often dig-up fascinating background information that even the most die-hard fans might not be aware of. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who enjoys quality UK science-fiction television.
