    Who is Devin Miller?
I love start-ups. I run my own patent and trademark law firm to help start-ups and small businesses. I also founded my first start-up while earning my Law & MBA degrees. Since then, I have founded several 7 & 8 figure start-ups and enjoyed every minute of it.
Miller IP Law was founded by Devin Miller, a patent attorney that lives in Utah. As Devin worked for a large law firm helping fortune 100 clients with their intellectual property, he realized that there was not a good resource out there to help start-ups and small businesses understand intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights. As a small business owner, Devin wanted to provide a resource for start-ups and small businesses where they could learn about patents, trademarks, and copyrights and how they relate to business to help small business owners like himself build value into their business and protect their assets.
    Greatest Professional Mentor
His dad has been his greatest professional mentor. Growing up, he was heavily involved in multiple start-ups. He grew up watching him experience the joy of success and the downsides of failure. He taught him everything he knows and has fostered his passion for helping people like him with their intellectual property.
Devin was raised in Utah. He went to BYU (Provo, Utah) to get a double major in Electrical Engineering (EE) and Mandarin Chinese. He then went to Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, Ohio) to get dual degrees, a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and a law degree (JD). Devin now lives in the small town of Mountain Green, Utah. Devin is also a father of 4 children and has been married to his college sweetheart for 10 years.

In Conversation- Neil Twa Top Five Tips All Sellers Need to 10X Their Business

“So, we put 2000 units of belt buddies into Amazon Marketplace, and sold them out in eight days, zero marketing, zero research, zero everything and went straight out to 2000 units. And we said, Well, I think we got something going here. So, we didn't marry the product. But we tried something similar.  And we ethically stole the marketing of their infomercial because people were coming to Amazon to buy the product or look for it. But we were just a little bit better at the marketing than they were and so they saw our product first and we were actually a higher retail price point”

In Conversation- Kevin Bees Top Five Tips To Maximize Your Profitability

In Conversation- Kevin Bees Top Five Tips To Maximize Your Profitability

"Do you know your conversion rate? If you don't let's start there as to find out what it is this guy we dug into it, he had a 20% conversion rate. So, for every five people his team spoke with, he would get you know one of those become a client. And I asked him when he was doing the sales and selling how many how much would he convert? And he said he would convert 80% of the time, right? So, he would get four out of five. So, there's big disparity there. So, we set to work and identify what were the gaps? How could we get that sales up to 50%? Could we get the teams to be moving that way? Now we set that as a standard. And we put in some small steps and processes along the way. Now within three to six months, his team were up to 40%. So, they're going from 20% to 40%, just by focusing on making a few small tweaks and changes. So, if his conversion double, then of course his whole business doubled."

I live my life to be the best me that I can be in every life situation. For this my first interest is to discover how I, things, and reality works. My research of how art works helps discovering me and allows me to grow exponentially. If this resonates with others, it turns out to be the cherry on the cake.
