This episode features an interview with Dr. My Le Trinh. Born in Cambodia in 1966, she escaped the horrors of the Khmer Rouge as a young girl and embarked on a journey that eventually led her to Australia. After excelling in her medical studies, she became a renowned GP in Castle Hill in NSW. However, in 2021, she was suspended for prescribing Ivermectin to treat a COVID-19 patient. Dr Sanjeev Sabhlok: An economist reviewing public health from first principles

Dr Sanjeev Sabhlok: An economist reviewing public health from first principles

This episode features an interview with Dr Sanjeev Sabhlok. Sanjeev is an economist and former civil servant from India. He obtained a doctorate in economics in 1999 from the University of Southern California before moving to Australia, where he has mostly worked as an economist in the Department of Treasury and Finance in Victoria.
In September 2020, Sanjeev resigned from his role in the Treasury, loudly protesting against the Daniel Andrews government's refusal to conduct a cost-benefit analysis or risk assessment for what ultimately became the world's longest lockdown in Melbourne, Australia, under the state's COVID-19 policies.

7:02 – The Victorian government did not undertake a cost-benefit analysis or risk assessment of the lockdowns; and how the usual Victorian decision-making processes were completely disregarded during lockdowns.
11:46 – Many in the Victorian Treasury did not voice their concerns for fear of losing their jobs; how the Victorian government made decisions in the absence of a cost-benefit analysis; and the incentives of using epidemiological to drive fear and panic in the public.
17:50 – Sweden is the world’s only control group and demonstrates the complete failure of lockdowns; and using economic analysis to predict ever-increasing expansion and power in public health and continued delusion in the public.
28:39 – Deferring to experts and not asking questions is a betrayal of the enlightenment and the scientific method.
33:05 – A complete package for people to never wake up or question what happened; and how the wealth and power gained by politicians and public health officials during the lockdowns has changed life fundamentally.
39:02 – The decisions during COVID-19 were made for political benefit and to be re-elected; and how public choice theory predicts politicians will continue to act without ethics to gain power.
42:00 – Sanjeev’s policy on truth and having principles in life; the incentives for media, politicians and pharmaceutical companies are a win-win for everyone to lose their mind; and how public health betrayed their own, 200-year-old scientific discovery that lockdowns do not work and only cause harm.

Dr Duncan Syme: Channeling anger into a force for good

Dr Duncan Syme: Channeling anger into a force for good

Dr Duncan Syme is a general practitioner and Vice President of The Australian Medical Professionals' Society (AMPS). With over 35 years of experience in the medical field, Dr Syme has dedicated his career to diverse areas such as drug and alcohol treatment, geriatric care, travel medicine, and research.
However, in February 2022, he was suspended under the emergency powers of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Australian medical board. This suspension was a result of an investigation into a complaint made against Dr Syme for writing an exemption/support letter for patients who were hesitant about receiving a COVID-19 vaccine.

In this conversation, Dr Syme reflects on his experiences over the past three years. We discuss the core principles that guide his medical practice, upcoming amendments to the World Health Organisation (WHO) and international health law, cognitive dissonance arising from Australia's response to COVID-19, challenges related to medical censorship, the need for improvements in healthcare systems and society, and his personal philosophy on life and commitment to self-improvement.

He graduated from Monash University in 1987 and completed his postgraduate qualifications in general practice in both the UK and Australia.

    Note

It was the US Food and Drug Administration who attempted to keep Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine data hidden (not Pfizer) and they wanted to keep it hidden for 55 years (not 75 years). Also, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) receives 96% of its budget from industry (not 97%).

    Time Stamps

2:30 – How Duncan’s suspension was triggered, vindication, and how many other doctors have been suspended or have been made to be fearful of potential investigation

10:30 – Questioning AHPRA and who oversees their operations, AHPRA venturing into new roles, AMPS' efforts to make its voice heard, how Duncan's continued suspension is justified by regulators

14:40 – TGA receives most of its funding from pharmaceutical companies, the pharmaceutical industry's legal obligations, attempting to keep Pfizer's  COVID-19 vaccine data hidden, complete trust in pharmaceutical companies during pandemic

22:30 – Guiding principles of being a doctor and medicine

26:23 – Upcoming changes in international health law, implications for global movement and medicine, WHO donors, the role of Bill Gates and his successful re-branding

38:00 - Cognitive dissonance among the public, senior doctors who failed to speak up, private conversations among doctors, and fatigue in discussing COVID-19

46:30 – Being wronged by regulators, challenges facing young doctors, medicine and society at a crossroads, global censorship since COVID-19, finding positives amid difficult situations

Dr Julian Fidge: The doctor who reversed Australia's ban on ivermectin

Dr Julian Fidge: The doctor who reversed Australia's ban on ivermectin

Dr Julian Fidge is a General Practitioner and pharmacist, in his 60s, practicing in rural Victoria. Julian has a diverse background, having served as a captain and medical officer in the Australian army, where he was involved in overseas operations. He identifies himself as a mainstream conservative doctor.
Julian recently played a significant role in influencing the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) to reverse their restrictions on the use of ivermectin in Australia.
Throughout the conversation, Julian willingly confronts potential consequences for discussing topics the medical board has deemed inappropriate, such as questioning the government's public health response. However, he believes it is his responsibility to speak out against the prevailing level of bullying and harassment of doctors by the government.

    Time stamps
1:00 – An introduction to ivermectin and Julians application to remove its restrictions (attached)
14:20 – Is the TGA compromised?
19:15 – The pandemic demonstrated the unhealthy relationship between the regulator and the regulated
23:23 –  Absurd  decisions - waiving liability of vaccine providers was reckless indifference and constitutes misfeasance
29:50 – Why aren’t other doctors speaking up? It’s unlawful based on the ruling from the tribunal (attached)
35:00 – Corruption of public service, using coercion and legal uncertainty for health officers if ivermectin is found to be an effective treatment for covid
41:09 – Medical board labelled Julian an antivaxxer for posting on a personal social media account and want to suppress all dissent
46:30 –  Antivax message was thoughtless and an abuse of position
52:40 – Being conservative in a state of flux, being unable to debate the safety and efficacy of vaccines and potential suspension following this interview
59:05 – The medical board is hounding doctors to death and has no concern for the public
1:01:56 – The Australian constitution forbids co-opting medical services and the TGA was potentially unlawful
1:09:30 – The vaccine roll out was not provided in accordance with ethical principles. The vaccines were coerced on people and have caused more harm than advertised and less effective than promised
1:11:41: - Medical officers have resigned, are the dregs of medicine and just as liable as any other doctor for improper conduct and negligence
1:14:52 – MRNA technology has not undergone post-marketing surveillance (phase 3 trials) and rolling them out as “safe and effective” mechanism for vaccine delivery was a fundamental failing of science in Australia
1:20:43 – The patient experience during the pandemic, pragmatic vs. under duress
1:23:55 – The courts reluctance to criticize the government but the handling of the pandemic was a broad failure across the public service and the depth of this failure led to injury and death, the truth is out there but deplatformed instantly
1:29:23 - The evidence does not support the wildly extravagant claims of the drug companies and government, there are no absolutes in medicine, the mantra “safe and effective” was a lie
