Datalines, by Datoid

Datoid

Sourced data stories. Audio editions of the work published on datoid.io — each episode walks through one argument, and the numbers come from the same live time series the charts on the site are drawn from. The written version stays canonical; the episode is the way in. Episodes are produced with AI: the script is written by a language model against a locked brief of real series values, and the two hosts are synthetic voices. What isn't automated is the sourcing — every figure traces to a named public dataset (FRED, Our World in Data, NOAA, NASA GISS, GDELT), and the chart behind each claim is one click away in the show notes.
