Episode 10 “The One with the Pissed off Biologists”
The ecosystem in which we live provides natural services for humans and all other species that are essential to our health, quality of life and survival. For example, our forests remove carbon dioxide and other pollutants from the air we breathe and also cool our air temperatures, reducing the formation of ground-level ozone, which is a pollutant that can cause heart and lung problems to worsen. Our wetlands store storm water, they filter and make harmless storm water pollutants, and recharge our aquifers (where most of us get our drinking water) with these filtered waters; the dune systems on our beaches form natural barriers to storm waves and provide important habitat and travel ways for wildlife. Episode 10 is the new format of DevVv talks moving forward. 1 part dialogue, 1 part mixing that way once I have your attention I can maintain it and build towards the end of the episode, just like a mix. Milk first, then cereal. It’s that simple. Anything else is just simply unacceptable. I prefer the crunch to remain stable in my cereal instead of it turning to mush. If you fuck with old cereals like Waffle Crisp YOU ALREADY KNOW you have 10 seconds to eat that bowl. And people in my family(also in this episode) just...don’t understand value nahh what I’m sayin? I had the privilege of sitting down with one of my very best friends amidst the re-opening of America. During our conversation we discuss themes like theater, what it must have been like on stage playing the ever popular Morticia, the complicated writing/creative processes of every writer, what we are both doing to counter the abundance of time on our hands, poetry, and what life will be like once everything resumes. What will be our new normal? Audrey will be returning to her venue where she is well integrated in her town through community service and hosting small events to boost the moral of the people closest to her. I will be returning to the decks, the studio, and the road attempting to create a music career in Hip-Hop and EDM. The episode where the podcast ACTUALLY met the DJ. I think I’ve found a balance in the audio world through mixing and talking with people and having engaging conversations. So why limit myself and do one or the other? Redneck Bidet ft Chris Burton
Back with my buddy Chris Burton for another installment of shenanigans. Since the Coronavirus is ravaging the US, I decided to bring another light hearted episode to your ears. We talk about how Oregon seems to switch jerseys at half time, expensive bottles of Whiskey, twerking, and of course the toilet paper catastrophe. I make jokes about his dad bod, he roasts my ideas for being too big sometimes. It just works.
