Webby Josh & Andrew - Rainy Days

Webby Josh & Andrew - Rainy Days

After our first decent snow in Norfolk for years, Andrew revels in the joy that snow days bring to families before introducing a fascinating market report.
In farm chat the three boys discuss what they think this year holds for the trading industry and discussing how the weather may affect the crop by putting their ‘best case scenario’ hats on.
We catch up with Josh on his plans to ski and surf on the same day in Norfolk and Andrew lets us in on his wish for a volcanic eruption in East Anglia that leaves some skiable and sledable hills.
The beer of the week this week is Wild Card, a Blackberry Stout, from the Wildcraft Brewery, which unknown the boys before seconds of trying it was out of date! Washing it down with a Bishops Finger Ale instead, the boys cheers to a rainy week ahead.

121- Andrew, Lily and Henry - A Family Affair

121- Andrew, Lily and Henry - A Family Affair

Yet another positive market report with the whole of 2021 so far seeing prices going up.
With lockdown yet to be over, this week Andrew calls on his daughter, Lily, to entertain. They discuss how the past year has been for teenagers in and out of school and whether or not heading off to university is the right idea, after failing to convince Lily that a career in grain trading is the best option.
With the worlds affairs still up in the air, Andrew gets Lily’s opinions on Trump, Anti-Vaxers and mental health, all whilst helping Andrew get to the bottom of how ‘woke’ he is.
To finish off this weeks episode, joining Andrew for a beer is Henry. Just as we thought the boys had never met a beer they didn’t like, the Nanobot Super Session IPA from Beavertown Brewery has them scratching their heads. Kindly gifted by David Wright, the two are thrilled with a free beer regardless.
