EXTRA: Elmer McCurdy, The Travelling Corpse
In 1976, an art director on the set of an episode of The Six Million Dollar Man moved the mannequin of a 'dead body' hanging from the ceiling of a haunted house... but they soon made a shocking discovery. It wasn't a mannequin at all, but a real human corpse. And that corpse had been on an incredible decades long journey! This is the story of Elmer McCurdy.

EXTRA: Stockholm Syndrome
This Apple bonus episode comes from the Patreon archives recorded way back in March 2017!
You know it as the Muse/One Direction/Blink 182 song title... But where did the term 'Stockholm Syndrome' come from? Dave did a bonus report on the bank robbery and hostage situation that resulted in the coining of the term. Why did these hostages feel sympathetic towards the gunman forcing them to stay put in a bank vault? It turns out, it's quite a story...
Customer Reviews
Uber clever, flowing and packed with facts
Loving the long form and cohesion (reading one anotherâs thoughts) of the group, punctuated with random seemingly irrelevant facts (I can assure you they are not). Keeping me sane and reducing my biological age during WFH times! Yay. đ
I am currently conditioning my newborn son to fall asleep to this podcast
Itâs a good time, and itâs extra funny at 3am.
Stuff white noise, my son now falls asleep to Sydney Sheinberg impressions, megatrots and Dreamboat Cooper
Not perfect but pretty close!
Have I loved every second of this? No, but have I fallen into a deep dive and listened to nothing but this? Yes! Best podcast Iâve heard in a long time. Very funny and informative. Feel like itâs the Aussie version of Stuff You Should Know.
