    How & why to get a mentor | EP17

    How & why to get a mentor | EP17

"How do I get a mentor?"
"What's the benefit of having mentors?
You're not alone if you've asked these questions... Many people say that having mentors is one of the most important keys to career success, but most people don't know how to approach mentoring or where to find these key relationships.
Learning from someone older, wiser and more experienced is an invaluable life opportunity, whether you've just started your first job or you're halfway through your career.
Several Dream Job Ready guests have referenced mentors and emphasised the importance they've played in their career journeys. For this 'Quick Take' episode, I've pulled advice from Episode 07 with Mark Wheeler (Head of YouTube & Large Customer Marketing at Google) at 1.13min and Episode 11 with Christine Rodrigues (Strategic Alliances Manager at Adobe) at 2.20min, who both speak highly about the impact mentoring has had on them.
'Quick Take' episodes will continue to highlight the best bits of advice we've shared in past interviews, just in shorter, snackable episodes so you can download and save them…
