Here's What the IPCC Report Actually Said About Carbon Dioxide Removal

Here's What the IPCC Report Actually Said About Carbon Dioxide Removal

Everyone else might have moved on but we're still plodding through the latest IPCC report over here. Carbon dioxide removal, or CDR, came up all over this report, and because the summary is vastly more positive about the potential of this tech than the rest of the report (thanks in no small part to influence from Saudi Arabia and the U.S.), I wanted to bring together a more complete picture of what the report actually says about it. Nikki Reisch and Carroll Muffett from the Center for International Environmental Law join to help.

Impeccable journalism

Amy and their team who work on the podcast leave no stone unturned in researching and revealing the real stories beneath the smoke and mirrors of greenwash, corruption, disingenuous "ideas" and frankly deadly tactics of the fossil fuel industry to undermine global emissions reduction. Listen to this podcast before you have any discussions with that neoliberal white uncle of yours.

One of the best climate podcasts

Well researched and compellingly pieced together. Definitely one of the best climate podcasts out there.

Fantastic journalism

Excellent work to bring to light the tactics used by the petrochemical industry to intimidate and harass those who raise concerns. Making me really reconsider my use of anything produced by this industry.
