Dungeons & Doctorates

I have been an avid listener since the beginning and each week am waiting for the next instalment. I love the characters and the sprinkling of science and academics. 100% recommend for lovers of world building and university antics.

Really enjoying this podcast after 10 eps. I get exactly an hours worth every day to and from work and the depth and quality of the role play is excellent. Never heard such dedication to character before, right down to describing their facial expressions, thoughts and mannerisms! They are very respectful of each other's time in the spotlight, and the Uni campus setting, characters and adventures are very cleverly imagined and fleshed out by GM Ben. So nice to hear Australian accented players for a change too (and Ross' UK doesn't grate either). Well done guys and girls, keep it up and looking forward to seeing the adventures unfold.

It is a joy to see more and more games of D&D being streamed and podcasted, and this is a worthy addition to the scene. The idea of having the adventurers be PhD students is refeshing and makes for a great mix of relatability and novelty. Let's face it; a lot of us RPG geeks are also science nerds so having both things in one show is simply brilliant. Another thing I really like about the show is the mix of roleplay with friendly comments. When most of us have an RPG session it will be a mix of roleplay and the occasional comments. This show gets that right, which make you feel you are watching a couple of good friends play their game. Highly recommended and truly original.
