Been listening to a podcast Re Electric cars etc
I was going to say sorry for driving a perfectly good German 14 yr old Diesel doing app 35 Mpg or 6.5 litres/100 km
But no no Why would I destroy a beautiful piece of engineering to satisfy a false premise that I will help
Save the planet by destroying one good car to make half a car
I love modern technology, but to me it don’t make common sense
But of course the electric car people are a bit like a cult It’s electric or nothing
With me it’s not about charging etc but the I Phone is a good example of requiring constant charging
Why not focus on the great waste that’s going on all around us unnecessary Wars travel etc wealthy human waste ie huge housing cars boats etc
I grew up in Irl and migrated south to Australia and both observed the culture of waste change over the past 40 years
Of course go electric ,but replace not destroy
