you can always tell a girl from a woman

you can always tell a girl from a woman, but it has nothing to do with age. it's behavioural, psychological, and the gap between them is more specific, and much easier to bridge than you may assume. in this episode of elevator, your elevator operator, Blanka Kamila, teaches what it actually means to upgrade from girl to woman; as a conscious and intentional identity shift. you'll level up with a precise method for identifying who you want to become, eliminating what contradicts her, and closing the gap between your current self and that version permanently. we go deep on three psychological mechanisms that determine whether any massive transformation succeeds or collapses midway: the divergence between your chronological and psychological age, why your locus of control is the single most important variable in becoming self-led, and how temporal discounting is most likely sabotaging your progress without you noticing. Blanka also introduces the alter-ego framework; a tool for bypassing the limiting beliefs that are responsible for 95% of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, so you can perform as the woman you're becoming without your subconscious beliefs holding you back.  — for voting on future topics and episode updates, follow @elevatorpod_ on instagram. next week: the psychology of becoming unstoppable and unforgettable. subscribe and turn the notification bell on. if this episode brought you value, a rating and review helps distribute elevator to more women like yourself.

  2. the most interesting woman in the room

the most interesting woman in the room

Blanka Kamila returns to YouTube with ‘the most interesting woman in the room’, where she discusses the luck, exposure, and confidence that the right hobbies will bring. We learn about the four most important types of hobbies, their benefits, and  how to implement them into your life; and how to choose the right ones for you.  Hobbies directly contribute to how interesting we are, they build our skills, confidence, and increase our exposure, meaning that we can meet more people, stumble across more opportunities, and find ourselves interested in more. Hobbies also help us to connect with others, and open our minds to different perspectives from different walks of life.  Blanka teaches how to choose the right hobbies, based on what you enjoyed doing in your childhood (before you were told what’s cool and what isn’t), and the importance of using hobbies to know yourself better - a massive factor in self worth. We discuss how social media use often contributes to younger girls copying influencers and trends, steering further away from who they truly are, and the things they truly enjoy. We also speak about the importance of critical thinking skill, and using it to differentiate between a trend you followed for external validation, and something you actually like, through three thought-provoking questions.  Additionally, we learned about the importance of a hobby that produces proof of intelligence. Studies indicate that women who have higher confidence in their intelligence perform significantly better in professional and academic environments compared to women who are insecure in their intelligence - so what’s it going to be? Chess? A new language? An instrument? Maybe something else?
