Utilising the LivingWorks Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) course, that is backed by over 30 years of research, Alena and Kat hope to build a connected and protective network - the herd - across the entire veterinary field to help in reducing the high suicide rate. Flynn’s Talk | Ep 33 - Dr Nigel Clayton, a life in veterinary medicine

Dr Nigel Clayton practiced veterinary medicine for 50 years, beginning his career in the UK before moving his family to Australia in the 1960s, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the first Animal Emergency Centre, which in turn reformed the way after hours care was provided. He led the way on many new ways of practicing, always with a focus on prioritising care for his staff.
