  1. Episode 18 - Moya Sayer Jones, Little Sister

Episode 18 - Moya Sayer Jones, Little Sister

For almost twenty years, Moya Sayer Jones wrote comedy for TV, print and theatre, too much to mention here, but including Ferals, Bananas in Pyjamas and Petals. She’s also the author of four fiction books. But it was when she wrote her first non fiction book, a collection of stories about families suffering disadvantage, that her career took another turn and Moya founded Only Human Stories. We talked about growing up as the youngest of four sisters, her early adventures in writing and cycling through Europe, playing at the Edinborough Fringe, and lots about story and the great power it brings to us as businesses, but also as individuals. Enjoy the articulate, learned and very fun Moya Sayer Jones. 2. Episode 16 - Seriya Cutbush Sound Healing

Episode 16 - Seriya Cutbush Sound Healing

What I love about this season in the Northern Rivers is that I get to talk to people with very different backgrounds and life journeys to myself. Because this is how I open up and learn.  If you are a practical Apple who doesn’t like woo woo, ignore this podcast at your peril.  Because it is packed full of useful shit. Seriya Cutbush is a yogini (that’s a female. Yogi, people) certified in a bunch of stuff. Daoist yin yoga, Sivananda hatha yoga, kahuna bodywork and shamanism, a massage therapist, liquid crystal practitioner, energetic healer, soul retrieval therapsit, sound therapist  and passionate Kirtan singer – chanting stuff.  As cofounder of Sound Healing Australia, the heart of her work is healing and as the name suggests, she’s super passionate about sound as a healing tool. We talked about parenting, her life as a hippy baby from 6 months old  If you expect her to be all soft and floaty and speak in a whisper, you’ll be surprised. I found a strong businesswoman with a big laugh, a great sense of a self and a gift for healing. Come on, dive on in and enjoy Seriya Cutbush.   Connect with Seriya on Facebook and Instagram soundhealingaustralia.com vibrateyourmind.com Marianne Wiliiamson, Author Crystal Castle   If you like what you hear, we'd love you to leave a review on Apple podcasts. 3. Episode 13 - Rev Rosie Wynter, Poster Girl for God

Episode 13 - Rev Rosie Wynter, Poster Girl for God

It's Easter 2023 (and some of you may not remember this is a Christian festival) so it's timely that I introduce you to the the Poster Girl for God. Stay with me. You won’t regret it. The Rev Rosie Wynter is a bit of a find. She’s been a model, a successful retail business owner, a musician, worked in natural therapies for 10 years, had a catering company, renovated houses and had bed and breakfasts (currently still does) and now is an Anglican priest. Our lovely conversation, which included tea and biscuits with the vicar (had to be done) covered a range of topics, including Rosie’s personal experience with domestic violence, how the traditional church has to evolve, how to get back up again when you’re knocked down – physically and metaphorically, and why she is not religious. Straighten your stockings, put on your lips and smile for the camera.  Enjoy the refreshingly normal Reverend Rosie  Wynter. Please be aware our discussion on DV could be potentially triggering.
