The War on Physiology, Trying to Erase Women and Why the Words We Use Matter with Isabella Malbin

The War on Physiology, Trying to Erase Women and Why the Words We Use Matter with Isabella Malbin

Today’s episode is jam packed with meaningful conversation surrounding the controversial topic of what it truly means to be a woman. It is no secret that society is desperately trying to erase what makes women different and unique, and my guest - Isabella Malbin - joins me in this episode to discuss all that is being stolen from us under the guise of transhumanism.
The definition of a woman comes down to the physiology that sets us apart. As Isabella so clearly states, we are human first, then gender second. It is literally the second most important factor as a dimorphic species. While gender roles may vary across the globe or even across neighborhoods, there is nothing that changes the underlying physiology that connects us all as women.

Female erasure is occurring in the brainwashing that is being fed to us as a solution to the problem of unwanted pregnancies. Birth control causes the equivalent of chemical castration in women and the true impacts of these medications aren’t discussed with us in the depth that they should be before such a commitment is made.

We talk about the impact that gender ideology has on our power as women, the controversy of societal beauty standards, and about the lie we’ve been fed that our value is derived from what we achieve. Join me in this episode where we dive deep into these topics and so much more.

    In this episode:
[02:20] Welcome my guest today, Isabella Malbin.
[04:28] Isabella’s experience with becoming a Doula and how gender ideology was introduced in that process.
[06:22] The story behind how Isabella discovered that gender ideology and birthing are completely incompatible.
[09:42] The slow waking that Isabella experienced while working with women and helping them advocate for their own health.
[13:00] How the concept of transgenderism waters down both the male and female physiology.
[19:21] The role that birth control has played in how women relate to their own physiology.
[26:51] Are women more powerful than ever, or is our power being taken from us?
[30:00] The difficulty of finding a political home when we hold the types of views that we do.
[32:11] The benefits of having children at a younger age and the misconception of fulfillment from funneling our self-worth into a career or accomplishment.
[39:44] We are robbed of the opportunity to watch our elders age without chemical intervention.
[50:08] Why does the language we use to describe women matter so much?
[52:03] The real end goal of the transhumanist takeover.
[56:14] Thanks for joining me on the Fully Nourished Podcast today!

When we consider intermittent fasting, we see big forces at play in our metabolism. The truth is that women (or anyone, really) were not built to fast as a normal practice. The practice of fasting causes too much metabolic damage in our systems.
When your body is forced into a season of scarcity, it will do everything it can to conserve energy and calories for safety purposes. So the fasting practice that you’re hoping will help you shed some weight is actually telling your body to hold on to every pound it can.
There’s so much more that we dive into in this episode about the real impact that intermittent fasting has on your metabolism and your overall health, and I know you’re going to love it. Tune in today!
    In this episode:
[00:02:11] Is intermittent fasting really a healthy practice for women to partake in?
[00:06:58] Common misconceptions surrounding the benefits of intermittent fasting
[00:18:45] Metabolic restoration and the role that hormones play in metabolism.
[00:21:22] The differences between male and female physiology and the impact fasting has on each.
[00:27:28] The process the body follows when in a state of famine and the role it plays in our physiology.
[00:32:27] How does the process of gluconeogenesis actually work?
[00:41:24] Intermittent fasting and misconceptions surrounding weight loss.
[00:44:05] The behavior of our ancestors surrounding intermittent fasting and where fasting shows up in nature.
[00:47:44] How does intermittent fasting impact your circadian rhythm?
[00:52:21] The impact of intermittent fasting on eliminating toxins and metals from your body.

Busting Health & Wellness Myths: How Diets Ruin Metabolism, Sugar is Not the Devil, Does Carnivore really “Heal”, Intermittent Fasting, Autophagy Might Not Be a Good Thing and the Myth of Running Out of Eggs with Kaya of Fundamental Nutrition

I am so excited to share this episode with you! There are so many fad diets and health myths present in the health and wellness space. In my chat with Kaya today, we are going to go through many of the top health and wellness trends and discuss not just why they are not helpful to female physiology but how they are actually damaging our cells and our bodies.
After struggling for most of her life with chronic illnesses that doctors were unable to find the root cause of, Kaya has finally discovered that her nutrition and her physiology had so much to do with her underlying issues and that listening to her body’s needs was the best solution to her problems.

This sent Kaya down the path of trying every health trend possible to try and find the thing that was going to “fix” her. Kaya shares her experiences on a paleo diet, a low-carb diet, a meat-only diet, a raw meat diet, and her experience with intermittent fasting. None of which seemed to help improve her condition at all.

I know you’re going to love the information in this episode. We talk about so many topics and share so much information that can help you better understand what these health fads truly mean for your metabolism and what the better alternatives are for female physiology. Tune in today!

[00:06:00] She talks about her experience with the paleo and low-carb diets and how they didn’t really change her overall health.
[00:08:57] How she was doing everything “right” but not reaping any benefits, and how her thyroid issues were overlooked by physicians.
[00:12:39] Menstrual cycles, hormones, and the impacts they play on our health.
[00:14:00] Kaya shares her experience with the carnivore diet.
[00:17:51] Outside sources are not the voice for what is best for your body.

[00:45:37] Common dogmas and misconceptions that are still widely accepted in the health and wellness space and how it all evolves around metabolism.

Q&A Episode: Dairy Intolerances, Feminine Alignment, Female Fasting, Nourishment as a Gateway, "Healing Pounds" and Realistic Fat Loss

Q&A Episode: Dairy Intolerances, Feminine Alignment, Female Fasting, Nourishment as a Gateway, "Healing Pounds" and Realistic Fat Loss

I’m excited to dive into the insights and feedback of my podcast audience today! I love the collaborative community that this podcast nurtures, and thank you to all of my listeners who submit write-ins for feedback and questions to dive deeper into discovering your feminine radiance.
One of the topics that came through that piqued my interest and that I thought warranted some discussion was fasting and how it doesn’t really work with female physiology. I could talk for an entire episode on this topic, and I will soon, but today I give the cliff-notes on fasting, how it is significantly different for women, and how it can actually keep us from stepping into our true potential.

Nourishment is a gateway. If your cells are not nourished, you will not be able to progress beyond basic survival. In order to connect to your feminine experience and expand your perspective in life, you have to move beyond a state of survival.

Another big topic that has so much division in the health and wellness space is dairy intolerance. There are so many misconceptions surrounding dairy, and the first one is lumping all dairy products into one category when they are molecularly different foods based on where they come from and how they are processed.

I also touch on the topic of “healing pounds” and how it feeds into your overall nourishment. Putting on a few pounds when we begin to regulate our metabolism is normal, but we have to shift to being more intentional about what we are eating and how frequently we are eating to avoid impacting our quality of life negatively by becoming overweight in the process.

This episode is full of so much information on topics that are prevalent in our community and I know you’ll find some value here. Tune in with me today!

    In this episode:

[03:00] Fasting and the impact it has on women’s health.
[09:24] The role of progesterone in our metabolic processes and nutrition.
[10:13] Getting out of the way of your physiology to expand your perception and life experience.
[17:21] Common misconceptions about dairy intolerance.
[21:14] How different people tolerate dairy and how to re-introduce it into your diet if you choose to do so.
    [26:58] Misconceptions surrounding “healing pounds.”
[29:14] How restrictive diets can set you up for failure in nourishment and make you more prone to binging unhealthy cravings.
[30:46] Gaining weight in a pro-metabolic approach can correspond with not eating intentionally.
[34:39] Fat is protecting you from your environment.
[36:41] The balance between being too lean and being overweight.
[38:28] Taking personal responsibility for the calories we are consuming.
[40:29] Getting into movement and lymph work and utilizing fat in a sustainable way.
[42:15] The power of eating sensibly and the balance between intake and output.
[48:29] Thanks for tuning into the Fully Nourished Podcast today!

Making Friends with Stress & Creating Real Resilience with Jenna Hamm

Making Friends with Stress & Creating Real Resilience with Jenna Hamm

When we explore female physiology and feminine energy, we are always confronted with how stress plays a role in both of these complex systems. We are often told that we must reduce our stress, but there may be more to it than that.
Today, I speak with Jenna Hamm, an integrative trauma therapist who is doing amazing work through Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems, and Nervous System Regulation. Her work is unique because she is shifting the perspective from reducing stress to how to become more resilient through our exposure to stress.
A lot of the work we need to do in response to internal and external stressors relies heavily on listening to the messages that our bodies are sending us. Often, when we are faced with symptoms or up-regulated responses to stimuli, it is because we have not addressed an underlying pain within us.
Sometimes these responses to stressors in our environment are our brain’s way of creating safety. The trouble is that we are constantly seeking external saviors and remedies to our problems, and we aren’t taking the time to discover the underlying message our body is trying to tell us.
Jenna is an amazing guest who discusses ways to mobilize stuck stress, get the true rest our bodies need, and become more resilient in the face of stress. I know you’re going to love this episode. Tune in today to dive deeper into these concepts and how they awaken our feminine radiance!

    In this episode:
[00:02:46] Welcome to the show, Jenna Hamm!
[00:03:18] Jenna shares her story and her journey into the work she currently does.
00:06:21] Jenna discusses the overuse of cognitive abilities and the prefrontal cortex and how it can lead to more dysregulation in our nervous systems.
[00:11:41] The common misconceptions about the connection between stress and nourishment.
[00:15:14] We have to listen to our bodies to find the pain at the bottom of our symptoms.
[00:18:58] Instead of being victims of stress and seeking an external savior, we must take personal responsibility for facing the root of our stress.
[00:24:09] Our ability to be resilient to stress is similar to a muscle that needs to be exercised.
[00:29:19] Jenna shares some tools and techniques that can be helpful in nervous system regulation for those who have been avoiding stress for so long.
[00:36:17] There is a fine line between introspection, being hyper-attuned to one's internal world, and being less connected to the outside world.
[00:40:17] We often misunderstand the concept of creating a safe environment for ourselves.
[00:43:52] What it truly means to surrender to the body’s response to stress.
[00:47:10] The importance of mobilizing stress.
[00:52:03] The importance of movement in the evolution of female physiology and nervous system.
[00:55:45] What is fake rest, and how can we get the real rest we need?

Implosion of the Health & Wellness Industry and Burning Down Toxic Frameworks

Implosion of the Health & Wellness Industry and Burning Down Toxic Frameworks

As we constantly strive to find a state of regulation and resonance with our feminine energy, we are often presented with new information that may differ from what we have come to understand. In many circles, this new information could completely destroy the framework we have built, but in this episode, I’m here to encourage you that we can add layers of new information to our current knowledge without completely burning down our current framework.
While there are plenty of frameworks out there that are finally imploding, namely the health and wellness space, this concept is universal across society and the feminine and masculine energies.

As women, we were not meant to thrive in this type of rigidity. However, when we find ourselves in a state of dysregulation, our perceptions are easily distorted as we are doing what we think is best for survival, and we find ourselves trapped in these rigid and dogmatic frameworks.

Instead of focusing on external solutions to our problems, we need to address our internal dysregulation that causes us to latch onto unhealthy or toxic frameworks. As women, our feminine energy is seeking something to be devoted to. We crave a masculine framework to allow us to thrive within.

I’m so excited to share this episode with you today. I know you’ll love it. Tune in now!

    In this episode:

[00:46] Welcome to the Fully Nourished Podcast!
[02:53] The toxicity in the health and wellness space and how it causes dysregulation within us.
[07:37] The types of chaos that are present in the health and wellness space currently.
[10:47] We cannot look for an outside source to fix us.
[13:17] The feminine dances within a masculine framework.
[19:26] How feminine clarity presents when you are in energetic equilibrium versus when you are in a state of fight or flight.
[25:16] The creator of the universe wants to be the framework we dance in.
[29:03] Male physiology and female physiology are two representations of material manifestations of our energies.
[33:26] My response to the implosion of the health and wellness space and what it means for women everywhere.
[35:30] We have to be devoted to a framework to truly thrive in our feminine energy.
[38:32] Destruction is a way to restructure us for growth.
    [43:05] Thanks for listening today!
