Gate Close Panic is indeed an excellent podcast for listening to while doing the dishes, or while feministly washing the car or unblocking the sink, or while watching your dog fall asleep.
Seren does a soothingly delicious job at guiding each guest in conversation while leaving them to explore their own stream of conciousnesses and indirectly direct their own stories. The episodes really allow for a space of knowledge and experiencing-sharing in a warm and intimate, yet empowering, way.
There is also much appreciation of the candid recordings of logistics like the entering of apartments and muffled hugs as well as surprised guests from the household and other comforting conversations.
Some chats are more whispered than others so an added suggestive element of the headphone really adds to that I-think-I've-accidentally-tapped-into-listening-in-on-some-really-important-top-secret-information-here experience.
Even better, the theme music feels like a cheeky space adventure so let's just say this podcast is a brightly informative thing of a good time.
