Bird by bird - It's all connected!
In the year 1204, Château Gaillard was captured by the king of France. In 2024, Tacks brings this up in a discussion about Part 1 of Bird by Bird, by Anne Lamott. Addie, who was trying to keep the podcast running on time, did not approve the bonus history lesson.

Going Batty in 30 Days
CZ Tacks, veteran WriMo meets Addie Ellicott, NaNo virgin. Together they launch themselves at the prospect of writing a 50 000 word novel in the month of November without losing the plot. Fun and giggles, great advice, tales of disaster, these two bounce one-liners off each other, energising the listener into following their lead in high-velocity novel-writing. It’s an insane concept to begin with me this pair have got it nailed. Both writers perform brilliantly under pressure, going by their professional credits, I’d like to advise actual NaNoWriMo participants to listen to this podcast while driving, cycling to work, on public transport, or whatever moment out of the day they are not actually writing but beware, at some point you will find yourself upsidedown out of your seat howling with laughter and that’s not a great look on a bicycle. These two are stars and I give them five. —Skyring
