matt christman, stuck inside during quarantine, begins a little daily livestream. i'm not sure he really knows what the goal was originally, but a few episodes in something happens. matt starts to grab hold of something...
a mix of buddhism, lsd, and dialectical materialism, matt forms a new way of seeing the world. the grill pill. basically summed up, the grill pill is "doing a single action possible within your own material conditions". it sounds like a simple idea, which might make it easy to overlook, but matt really hammers down on it. its hard to not begin to understand it. really understand it.
the cushvlogs genuinely have changed my life. i'm only a little embarrassed to say that. it's true though, and i'm not alone i am sure. they've really helped during these hard times we live in. i look forward to sitting down every morning or so and watching, taking in that days lesson, and really trying to make a change. matt's streams are a spiritual experience, like a modern church. a brilliant answer to what a lot of people have been searching for.
he also talks about movies and tv sometimes. thats a lot of fun. although not necessarily disconnected, they're a nice break from the heavier topics.
