An Evening with Lora Munro 28 March 2026

An Evening with Lora Munro Tonight’s Episode is going to take you on a journey back to Stage and Screen favorites, with a dance floor twist. Lora Munro, British Disability Access professional, moonlights in the recording studios, bringing you some of your favorite stage songs, while Harajuku and Stephanie O’Hara take you to the dance floors of the 90’s with their very well recognised beat. We will start at the very beginning, because that’s a very good place to start. Lora will have you asking if one night in Bangkok really does make your heart grow fonder, or is it just one of your favorite things? Pocahontas will be asking if you can paint with all the colors of the wind while you ask yourself if you can feel the love tonight….. Maybe it was just a dream….. But has life killed the dream you dream? What’s the one word you know, when there is nothing else to say? Supercalifragilistic-Expealidocious – It’s a mighty fine word. Madonna is taking us back to Miami, and asking us not to cry for her, but before you have a chance, you will be suddenly taken back to one of Little Jase’s favorite songs in the whole wide world………….. It’s more than spectacular… It’s Chitty. Our Freshly Baked Beat this week is Take That’s new song, which will feature on their tenth album this year, called “You’re A Superstar” which definitely goes along the broad bakery shelves of Hot Bread. But Les Miserables started with a man stealing a loaf of bread, so why not have a great song from les Mis to keep us wanting more. We will finish the show with one of the best songs to say So Long Farwell…… Remember to look out for one another, be kind, protect our dolls and remember, Hot Bread is for everybody. Dancing on Your Own(Feel the Music -Part 1) 14 March 2026

Dancing on Your Own(Feel the Music, part 1) Welcome to this episode of Hot Bread:  Dancing on Your Own(Feel the Music, Part 1.)  Tonight’s show is inspired by something a friend said: “If you’ve got nobody there to dance with, dance on your own.”  Almost all the music in this show is brand new, with releases you will know and love.   You will enjoy dancing whether you’re with others or not.  Starting the show we have the new hit from The Pussycat Dolls, called Club Song.  Followed by a 2023 release of Children, Lose Control, by Calvin Harris and Andrea Monta.  This song samples the 1995 hit by Robert Miles.  The set finishes by Releasing the Pressure with another Calvin Harris and Kasabian 2026 release. Jennifer Lopez and David Guetta bring us their new 2026 release:  Save Me Tonight.  Plus, Calvin Harris sneaks in again with a remix of Florence and the Machine’s Say My Name.  And the set finishes with Hurrican by Marc Korn, Semitoo and MH. Maybe now it’s time to RIDE Jessie Ware’s brand new release, followed by Alle Farben and ReneMiller’s new release, Body Talk.  By now if you’re not lost in the music, you will be when you hear A7S finish up the set. So, it’s almost time to get ready and go out on the scene, but Sonny Fodera, Crystal, Felix Jaehn and Cascada have a couple of great tunes to build you up for the remake of Fragma’s 2000 hit, Toca’s Miracle. Remember – Look out for one another, Be Kind, Protect our Dolls, and remember, with everything happening in the world right now, there is still a reason to Celebrate with Courtney Act.   Remember, if you want to hear more amazing Hot Bread Podcasts, download, listen and subscribe: http://www.joy.org.au/hotbread   ENJOY! The Mardi Gras Edition 28 February 2026

The Mardi Gras Edition Hello Joysers! This episode of Hot Bread is a celebration of Mardi Gras. (If you can’t get to Sydney, bring Sydney to you) We are starting with cocktails from Dannii Minogue, when she puts the Lime in the coconut. (She’s such a silly woman). Then we are getting free, gay and happy with Sabrina Johnston and the coming out crew, followed by the best Studio 54 song ever written, You make me feel Mighty Real, by Sylvester. We’ve all heard many renditions of “It’s Raining Men and here’s a new one, by La Voix (RPDR UK) and Toy Armada, followed by Disco inferno (The original by The Tramps) and Burn by Tina Arena. Soft cell hits out half way mark, alongside Dead Or Alive and The Spice Girls, Live at Wembley Stadium, reminding us that we are family. Finishing off the show, we have Kylie Minogue with Padam Padam (It’sa heartbeat apparently) Lisa Stansfield, reminding us to hold on, and finishing off a brilliant Bronski Beat cover of Smalltown Boy by Don Diablo. Return to Heart 21 February 2026

Hot Bread:  Return to Heart is bringing you back to your heart this evening, with great memories from the 90’s, with a couple of Freshly Baked Beats thrown in.  (joy.org.au/hotbread) Starting the show with a nonsensical Latin remix of Ameno, by ERA, be suddenly thrown into a Daniel Adame remix of Celine Dion, finishing the first break with a remix of Whole Again, by Kenlo and Scaffa. Plus, the tasty tasty treats continue with Bjork’s Big Time Sensuality, (A small precursor of what’s to come next week when we celebrate Mardi Gras). Now, taking you to the stage of the Edinburgh Castle Hotel in Adelaide, a brilliant version of I Put A Spell On You, by Sonique (as performed by Vonnie). Your first freshly baked beat is by MEEK, with her song Fabulous (WAY TOO). If you want the version that can’t be played on Radio, search it out because you won’t be disappointed. Also, the Communards, featuring Sarah Jane Morris will be requesting you don’t leave her this way, and will take you to her best friend’s wedding where Diana King will say a little prayer, followed by a freshly baked beat. Let’s finish the show, Return to Heart, with Melbourne’s own, Vita Adam, with Streetlight and A flashback to 1997 with Whigfield’s No Tears To Cry. When you go out tonight, look out for one another, protect our dolls and remember to enjoy every moment. Remember, if you want to go back and listen to any of the previous Hot Bread shows, go to http://www.joy.org.au/hotbread   ENJOY!
