How to Raise Your Standards in Health, Relationships & Life

In this episode of She’s the Standard, I’m talking about something that has changed every area of my life: The standards you tolerate. Not the standards you talk about. Not the standards you post online. The standards you actually live by every single day. I’m sharing the real story behind my journey from self-sabotage, binge eating, bulimia, alcohol, and feeling completely disconnected from myself… to becoming the woman I am today. This episode is about understanding that confidence is not something you’re born with — it’s something you build through the promises you keep to yourself. We dive into: ✨ The hidden standards that keep women stuck ✨ How self-sabotage shows up in your health, relationships, work, and friendships ✨ Why your environment matters more than motivation ✨ The truth about confidence and self-worth ✨ How pregnancy and motherhood changed the trajectory of my life ✨ Why raising your standards doesn’t happen overnight ✨ The 5 areas of life I believe every woman should audit ✨ How one decision can completely transform your future If you’ve been feeling stuck, settling for less than you deserve, surrounded by people who drain your energy, or constantly breaking promises to yourself, this episode is your wake-up call. You don’t need a perfect plan. You need a decision. A decision to stop tolerating what no longer aligns with the life you want to create. Because the moment you raise your standards, you start changing your identity. And when your identity changes, your life follows. 🎧 Listen now, and if this episode resonates, share it to your stories and tag @shesthestandardpodcast so I can personally thank you. I Lost My Instagram & Raised My Standards | The Pivot That Changed Everything

In this episode of She’s the Standard, I’m sharing the unexpected moment that forced me to stop, reflect, and ask myself a much bigger question: What am I no longer willing to tolerate — online and in life? After losing my Instagram account, I had every reason to panic. Instead, I chose to see it as an opportunity to raise my standards, pivot with intention, and build from a place of authenticity rather than fear. This conversation is about so much more than social media. It’s about becoming the woman who doesn’t crumble when things change — the woman who adapts, evolves, and creates something even better. Inside this episode, I talk about: Losing my Instagram and choosing not to spiral Why I stopped trying to be perfect online Bringing fun, freedom, and honesty back into content creation Letting go of people-pleasing Protecting my energy and holding stronger boundaries Trusting the redirection instead of resisting it Why raising your standards often requires letting go of an old version of yourself Starting again without losing your confidence If you’ve been feeling stuck, disconnected from yourself, afraid to pivot, or worried about what other people will think, this episode is your reminder that sometimes the universe removes what no longer fits so you can build what truly aligns. This is the season of higher standards, stronger boundaries, more authenticity, and less pretending. 🎧 Listen now and if this episode resonates, share it to your stories, tag @shesthestandardpodcast, and let me know your biggest takeaway. Become the Standard. 🤍 This episode is based on my personal experiences and reflections and is intended for inspiration and education only.

How I Turned Grief Into Purpose | Losing My Mum, Healing & Refusing to Let Grief Define My Future

This episode is one of the most personal conversations I’ve shared. Five years ago, I lost my mum to stage four cancer. I was 30. I had two children under two. My son was 18 months old, my daughter was six months old… and I was trying to figure out how the fuck you keep living when someone you love is no longer physically here. For a long time, I sat in my grief. For nine months, I drank every day. What started as a glass of wine turned into a way of numbing what I didn't know how to feel, process or move through. Until one day, I woke up and decided I didn't want to feel like that anymore. I had two children watching me. I had a life in front of me. And I made a decision that I wasn't only going to live my life for myself anymore… I was going to live it for my mum too. In this episode, I'm sharing my personal experience with grief, losing my mum, healing after loss and the ways I've learned to carry her with me through every chapter of my life. I talk about the final days I spent with her, the grief my body still remembers five years later, my spiritual connection with her after death, the traditions I've created with my children and why “Gma is in the sun” will forever mean so much to our family. I also share the parts of grief we don't always talk about — numbing the pain, not knowing how to ask for support, holding onto guilt and resentment, and learning that moving forward doesn't mean leaving the person you love behind. I could have let grief define my future. Instead, I've turned my grief into purpose. I've turned it into passion. I've turned it into a reason to travel more, experience more, break generational cycles and live a life that I know my mum would be fucking proud of. If you've lost your mum, a parent, a partner, a friendship or someone who held a special place in your heart… this episode is for you. You are not alone. You are never alone. And I see you. 🤍

How We’re Building Wealth in Our 30s | Money Mindset, Investing, Financial Freedom & Long-Term Wealth Strategy

Welcome back to Part 3 of this series with my husband Nic — and this one is all about money, wealth, investing, financial freedom and the education we wish we had years ago. After losing a significant amount of money, making bad investment decisions, and realising just how little we actually knew about building wealth, we knew something had to change. Over the last two years, we’ve completely shifted the way we think about money, assets, debt, investing, financial education and long-term wealth creation — both individually and as a family. In this episode, we’re sharing the conversations, lessons and strategies that have shaped the way we now approach financial freedom, from learning about Bitcoin, the S&P 500 and day trading, to understanding good debt vs bad debt, leverage, compound growth, mortgages, cash flow and building wealth that lasts. We talk about: the money lessons that came from losing a lot how Nic got into trading, charts and market cycles why financial education matters more than most people realise our thoughts on Bitcoin, the S&P 500 and long-term investing why paying off your mortgage early isn’t always the smartest move the difference between emotional decisions and strategic wealth decisions how we’re thinking about assets, leverage and financial freedom now what it means to build wealth with more intention, awareness and long-term vision This episode is for the person who knows there has to be more than working, paying bills, waiting for retirement and hoping it all works out. The person who wants to understand money better, think differently about wealth, and start building a life with more freedom, choice and long-term security.
