    The Detroit Lions are hoping to make a run back to the NFL Playoffs this year, but with roster questions, coaching concerns and now a serious legal issue with Terrion Arnold, the Lions are looking like a team at the end of a run that won't be revived. However, there are many teams in the NFL who missed out on the playoffs last year that look to get back in this season. If not the Lions, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have as good of a shot as anyone in the NFC. They will battle in a crowded division, but have the talent to stand out. In the AFC, all eyes will be on the north where last year's champ, the Pittsburgh Steelers, don't inspire a lot of confidence while the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens seem like much more dangerous options. The Kansas City Chiefs could have something to say about the playoffs after missing their first postseason with Patrick Mahomes. Apparently, Mahomes is ahead of schedule in his ACL recovery and that would make the Chiefs as good of an answer as any team when it comes to playoff rebounds. We also saw an extension for Kyle Pitts from the Atlanta Falcons and it is a bit of a shock considering how Pitts' career has gone so far for him and the Falcons. On Thursday, the United States national mens soccer team will play it's next match in the World Cup and makes you wonder what kind of lineup the NFL could put together if it had to. Obviously, the NFL players would not be the quality of our national team, but Lamar Jackson and Ja'Marr Chase sure seem like the kind of guys who could make an impact on offense with Kyle Hamilton and Will Anderson being quite the intimidating defenders.
