Ask it in ChatGPT, then Claude, then Copilot. Same question, three rooms. Write down what each did well. Don't buy anything. The customisation interview This is the template Dan talks about: instead of explaining your business to an AI every time, get it to interview you once, then keep the result. Paste this into Claude or ChatGPT, answer the questions one at a time, and save what it writes at the end. From then on, paste that file at the top of any prompt. I want you to build a context file for my business so that every time I work with you, you already know me. Interview me. Ask one question at a time and wait for my answer before asking the next. Twelve questions maximum. Cover: 1. What my business does, in plain words, and who it's for 2. The moment a customer usually comes looking for a business like mine, and what they're worried about right then 3. Three phrases my customers actually use when they talk about the problem (not marketing words) 4. What makes us the better choice when everything else looks equal 5. How I'd describe our tone in three words, and one example of something we'd say 6. Three words or phrases we would never use 7. What "good" looks like for a piece of marketing: what the customer should feel or do afterwards 8. What success looks like for me personally in this business, beyond revenue 9. The decisions I always want to make myself, and the ones I'm happy to hand to a process 10. Anything about my industry, location or rules that you'd need to know to not embarrass me 11. One thing I'm proud of that I never manage to say out loud 12. Who I am: my role, how long I've done this, and what I'm trying to protect Keep the questions short and don't explain them. If an answer is vague, ask one follow-up, then move on. When we're done, write it up as a context file of no more than 400 words, in my words not yours, with these headings: Business, Customer, Voice, Never say, What good looks like, Success for me, Decisions I keep, Must know. Then tell me the one question you'd still want answered.How to use the file: save it as a note or document. Paste it at the top of any prompt, or set it as a project or custom instruction if your tool supports that. Review it every quarter and retire anything that's no longer true.
