Great show
I love this cast. It’s well balanced and always insightful. I especially enjoyed the Black History Month series.
Below average at best, with an amazing marketing budget
Perhaps at times this show could be more enjoyable if it was better narrated and produced, and offered a more holistic overview rather than attempting to skew history to suit its own viewpoints.
To add insult to injury honesty it was further ruined in advance by the mass marketing used to bring views - for example, you must listen to the two embedded advertisements for this podcast embedded into each episode of “american greed” by CNBC. Its amazing what a bit of cash can achieve.
After listening for a while, i was further convinced that this is just another example of a very average podcast with a ridiculously out of proportion advertising budget.
So telling and so informative without a dose of guilt
I stumbled across this podcast and subscribed to listen to the election journey. The scope of topics covered has broadened as society works it’s way through COVID and Black Lives Matter. It’s in time and considered commentary by providing opportunity for experts in the areas to speak about key questions. Best episode so far was focused on black trans lives, this was a truly profound explanation of life as a black trans person. I understand more today and know I have grown in my appreciation of my role in addressing the inequalities in society. Thank you.
