By purposing in his heart to obey the command "Thou shalt not kill," he transformed the battlefield of Hacksaw Ridge into a sanctuary of mercy. Without firing a single shot, he demonstrated that the "firepower" of God's love is more potent than any artillery. Doss chose to save life rather than take it, proving that a firm stand for the Prince of Peace earns a glory that outshines any earthly medal. Today, we are called to be modern conscientious objectors. In a world often defined by conflict and compromise, we must conscientiously object to everything evil, choosing instead to embody the life of Jesus within us. By embracing what He loves and shunning the things of death, we build each other up in light and love. Like Doss, if we stand firm in our faith and choose life at every turn, we move toward that ultimate moment where we will see Him face to face and receive the eternal reward of our faith. Spiritual darkness can never be expelled except by union with Christ." - William Gurnall #DesmondDoss #ChooseLife #FaithOverFear #ChristianCourage #MedalOfHonor #JoanieStahlsFieldNotes

We often treat faith like a savings account we can’t touch until a crisis passes. But the scripture doesn’t say, "Eventually, thanks be unto God." It begins with a transformative, explosive word: Now. 2 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV) establishes the foundation of our spiritual walk not in the "yet-to-come," but in the present tense. God is not a God of the past or a spectator of the future; He is the "NOW" God. He exists in the immediate. When we push our faith into the future, we inadvertently give the enemy room to operate in our today. Satan doesn't fear a Christian who hopes for victory next month; he trembles at the believer who claims the triumph of Jesus Christ in the middle of the trial. To live by "Now Faith" is to understand that the triumph isn't something you are waiting for—it is something you are currently walking in. It is the bold, radical refusal to let the circumstances of the moment dictate your spiritual reality. When something strikes, your immediate response shouldn't be a plea for future help, but a declaration of present victory: "Now thanks be unto God who ALWAYS causeth us to triumph." Stop waiting for the evidence to change before you offer your praise. True faith doesn't react to the breakthrough; it precedes it. By anchoring yourself in the "Now" of Christ, you shift from a victim of time to a victor in eternity. Secure your foundation, silence the enemy, and walk in the assured, present-tense triumph of the Lord Jesus Christ. "I live in the spirit of prayer. I pray as I walk about, when I lie down and when I rise up. And the answers are always coming." - George Muller #NowFaith, #TriumphInChrist, #PresentTenseFaith, #SpiritualAuthority, #TheGodOfNow

In a world that confuses emotional hype with spiritual power, we often mistake the "spark" of a crowd for the "fire" of the Lord. But true biblical zeal—the kind Paul describes in Galatians 4:18—is not a collective high or a fleeting feeling. It is a fiery, ardent passion birthed in the deepest seat of the soul. It is the very power of God set within a person to perform His specific will. This message explores the "good thing" that Paul commands us to be zealously affected by. Be warned: true zeal is often a solo calling. It is a force of acute determination that refuses compromise and seeks only the Victor’s crown. When you walk in this divine fire, fellow believers may become annoyed, labeled you an extremist, or even exclude you from their circles. Yet, if your zeal is truly from the Lord, no social pressure or isolation can stop Him in you. It is time to move past the false sense of power found in groups and embrace the unstoppable, dedicated force of a heart fully possessed by God. When surrendered to this zeal, then the Lord will press Himself forward in you and through you. He will perform that "good thing" in you."Faith does not operate in the realm of the possible. There is no glory for God in that which is humanly possible. Faith begins where man's power ends."- George Muller#SpiritualZeal, #Galatians418, #HolyFire, #NoCompromise, #VictorsCrown

From every direction, we are bombarded with the demand to "decide now" or "act fast." But when life-altering choices are on the line, that neck-breaking pressure is rarely from God.In this message, we pull back the curtain on the "hurry-up" culture and the spiritual traps that lie within it. When we allow desperation, fear, and stress to drive our pens or our tongues, we often walk straight into catastrophes that lead to years of grief. The enemy knows that if he can keep you rushing, he can keep you from hearing the still, small voice of truth. If you feel overwhelmed by external forcing today, this is your permission to STOP. Step back, move away from the noise, and run toward the Shepherd. God never drives His people with the whip of anxiety; He leads us through the paths of righteousness and peace. Learn how to reclaim your pace and find clarity in the presence of the Lord." Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord." Psalm 27:14.“Blessed are the single-hearted, for they shall enjoy much peace. If you refuse to be hurried and pressed, if you stay your soul on God, nothing can keep you from that clearness of spirit which is life and peace. In that stillness you will know what His will is.” - Amy Wilson Carmichael#FaithOverFear #DivineGuidance #StopAndPray #ChristianLiving #PeaceOfGod

To the world, being harmless implies weakness or a lack of resolve. However, Scripture paints a far more profound picture. From the high priestly holiness of Jesus in Hebrews 7:26—who was "holy, harmless, and undefiled"—to the strategic mandate in Matthew 10:16 to be "wise as serpents and harmless as doves," we see that harmlessness is not the absence of power, but power under the absolute restraint of the Holy Spirit. It is the signature of a soul that has been conquered by God.True harmlessness is not a personality trait; it is a supernatural fruit of the maturing process. It is the result of the Spirit’s tireless work in the heart, softening the jagged edges of our defense mechanisms until Philippians 2:15 becomes a reality: becoming blameless and harmless in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation. This is the ultimate goal of the Christian walk—to endure the pressures of a hateful world until the likeness of Christ is fully formed within us."Maturity starts with the willingness to give oneself.” ― Elisabeth Elliot #SpiritualMaturity #ChristFormedInYou #ThePowerOfPeace #HolySpiritWork #BiblicalCharacter #JoanieStahlsFieldNotes

Many believers find themselves exhausted, constantly striving for more anointing or complex methods to reach God’s ear. But while some are busy pounding on Heaven’s door, the childlike heart is already inside, resting at the Father’s feet. There is such a beautiful irony in the Kingdom: the more we try to "flex" our spiritual muscles, the more we get in the way. This message explores how God moves most powerfully through those who view themselves as the least. We’ll discuss why Satan prefers "high-pitch" spiritual activity—which offers the illusion of progress—and why the simplest, quietest prayers are often the weightiest in the heart of the Lord. I t’s time to trade the exhaustion of performance for the effortless power of childlike belief. It’s the difference between a child trying to kick down a door and a child simply asking their Father for the key. The disciple's maturest manhood is only the perfection of his childhood. It is a season where the pressures of this age have conspired to drain every reservoir of natural resolve, leaving a multitude of believers running on a single, sputtering cylinder of strength. We have reached the literal end of the rope, where the fibers have frayed and the grip has failed. In this desolate geography of the soul, even prayer feels like a mountain too high to climb. The vocabulary of faith has been replaced by a heavy, hollow silence; the heart is no longer a cathedral of praise, but a wilderness of wordless fatigue. You find yourself at the bottom of the well, looking up into a sky that seems as brass.Yet, it is in this very collapse—this total insolvency of human effort—that a strange and ancient mystery reveals itself. When the "I can" is finally buried, the "He is" takes root. In the thickest part of that internal silence, when the strength to articulate even a single petition has vanished, there remains one final, indestructible anchor. It is the Name.Simply breathing the name of Jesus Christ into the void of your exhaustion does not just offer a temporary reprieve; it invites a supernatural, "strange" kind of peace that the world can neither give nor understand. It is a strengthening that does not come from our own reserves, but flows from the very marrow of the Eternal. In the silence where you have no words, His Name is the Word that speaks for you. It is the peace that enters when all doors are locked. It is enough. In the end, it is the only thing that was ever truly enough.“Be assured, if you walk with Him and look to Him, and expect help from Him, He will never fail you.” ― George Mueller#psalm #jesusname #weary #silence #grace #rest #soul #Joaniestalsfieldnotes

One quiet morning, while reading Psalm 30:7, the Holy Spirit breathed entirely new life into two simple words: "my mountain." Historically, a mountain in the Bible represents a kingdom or government. But in that moment, the words became like light. I felt an urgent, undeniable prompting from the Lord to lift up a prayer right then and there: "Lord, make my mountain to stand strong!" As I prayed, it felt as though a door opened in heaven. I realized this wasn't just a verse; it was a weapon."Your Mountain" represents exactly what you are standing and fighting for today. It is your family, your calling, your health, or the promises God has spoken over your life. In this message, we are going to look at how King David secured his victory, and how you can too. It’s time to own your mountain and consecrate it to Jesus Christ. He has not forgotten your fight. I want to encourage you today to own your mountain and completely consecrate it to Jesus Christ."Let none of us be content to tarry down below in the marshland of the poor poverty-stricken religion of this present day—but let us climb the high mountains where the sun of God's grace is shining brightest—and stand there enjoying communion with Him".- Charles Haddon Spurgeon #Psalm30 #MyMountain #StandStrong #VictoryInChrist #HolySpirit #ChristianEncouragement #FaithOverFear #JesusChrist #SpiritualBreakthrough #JoanieStahlsFieldNotes
