    #50 - I'm Stepping Away. Here's Why.

Living in full alignment and integrity – that’s the ultimate goal, right? Today’s episode is a little behind-the-scenes discussion of what is to come over the summer months, which includes me stepping away and taking a well-needed break. This hasn’t been an easy decision for me to come to. But when your Knowing speaks, you have to listen. This is the perfect opportunity to really walk my talk and get back in alignment.

I just want to thank you all for the incredible support you provide me during our time together as well as during this next chapter apart. I look forward to seeing what reveals itself during my time away and reuniting with you in a few months!

*There will still be some pre-scheduled podcast episodes and YouTube videos that are scheduled to release after this announcement!

#49 - Interview with Mark Groves

#49 - Interview with Mark Groves

Amy Young + Mark Groves (the dynamic podcasting duo!) are at it again with another juicy conversation. We probed into topics surrounding patriarchal influence in relationships, fearing loss of connection, facing inadequacy, and having the hard conversations. We hope you leave this episode feeling empowered with some new perspectives for the ways you can show up in the world and with those you love most.

    Mark Groves (he/him)

Mark Groves is the founder of Create The Love. His own rock bottom – a relationship ending – sparked his lifelong journey to turn his mess into his message. Today, Mark is a human connection specialist, speaker, writer, motivator, creator, connector, and collaborator. All. The. Things. As a bridge between the academic and the human, Mark invites people to explore the good, bad, downright ugly, and beautiful sides of connection.

Mark’s purpose? Empowering individuals to step into their power, transform the way they relate to themselves and others, and create authentic change – for a life + love they’ll look back on with a resounding “f*ck yes.”

He loves tacos, hiking, and making people laugh so hard they can't help but pee their pants a little.

#48 - Do You Want to be NEEDED? Or LOVED?

#48 - Do You Want to be NEEDED? Or LOVED?

Do you find that you are someone who finds your worthiness from other people “needing” you? You feel as though you need to overdo, overwork, and overperform to morph yourself into being indispensable?

Well in today’s episode of “Just What You Needed,” we are going to dive into that exact concept. We’re stepping back from that exhausting chase of safety, security, and belonging and settling into a NEW truth that you are inherently worthy just as you are. Your lovability stems from you simply being, not from doing.

The stories and examples in this episode are here to remind you that you are automatically choose-able because of your essence, because of who you are, and just because you exist.

#47 - Interview with Michel Grey

#47 - Interview with Michel Grey

Get ready for a deep dive in this one! The beautiful conversation I had with Michel Grey covered everything from talking about doing deep inner work to the applicable lessons you can take away from Grey’s Anatomy.

We covered all of the bases - immersing yourself in your ultimate truth, being able to honestly look at our shadow and egoic sides, and honoring (and even embracing!) your sensitives. If you are ready for some enlightening insight, this episode is for you.

Michel Grey (they/them) lives in Austin, Texas, and is a life coach who helps sensitive leaders cultivate confidence, purpose, and inner peace.

#46 - Scarcity, Good Sex, and Higher Standards

#46 - Scarcity, Good Sex, and Higher Standards

The Undoing Unfiltered call I hosted last month took a deep dive into Feminine Embodiment and Empowered Sexuality. There are so many stories that we, as feminine identifying beings, have surrounding our sex lives and we only scratched the surface.
I received a very interesting question on that call which revolved around a breakup and the fear that the individual wouldn’t be able to find that level of sexual connection again. This thought process is scarcity and I am NOT here for that energy.
Everyone has a choice to make. They can either subscribe to the scarcity mindset or they can believe that anything is possible. It’s that simple.
