    Let's Talk with Helene Hill | Chronic Illness Advocate, Founder of The Spoonie Society and Podcaster

Helene is passionate about advocating for those living with chronic illnesses, using her voice to raise awareness and empower others. Helene founded The Spoonie Society, a business dedicated to supporting those with chronic conditions which you may recognise from their famous wrap around heat packs. Helene now continues her advocacy through the Spoonie Diaries Podcast. With firsthand experience navigating life with six chronic illnesses, Helene openly shares her journey including multiple surgeries for Endometriosis, pelvic floor botox, egg freezing as well as her experience with a life threatening condition called Intussusception. Helene has spoken at endometriosis awareness events, been featured in Take 5 magazine, and won the prestigious Stevie Award in New York for product innovation. Dora developed a passion for Pelvic Health physiotherapy during her final years of University, undertaking her placement at the Royal Women’s Hospital. She loved the significant role that physiotherapy played in prenatal and postnatal recovery. Dora also developed a strong passion assisting women with pelvic health conditions including endometriosis, adenomyosis, sexual pain and menstrual pain. Dora's love for pelvic health grew when she was pregnant and gave birth to her beautiful children Archie and Mia. Dora uses a holistic and proactive treatment approach that combines hands-on therapy, dry needling, education and exercise therapy for optimal client-centred care. She strongly believes every one should be pain-free and have access to high-quality services throughout all life stages.
