Fabulous

Just finished my first podcast. Loved the whole immersive experience. Such great reading. Great story. I’m a fan of LeVar from Next Gen and loved his character Geordi so much I named my first born after him. I enjoyed the commentary about Levars difficulties coming to terms with being coloured. As a white Australian female raised in another nation than my own where the majority of people are in fact coloured and my best mates were too, I need to understand more about the perspectives of people of colour. I have found it so hard to reconcile that people this day and age could be so racist. It’s just such a foreign concept to me. Thanks for being open about it LeVar. I’ll be listening.

What a great podcast!

I have absolutely loved listening to LeVar read these stories. What a great selection, and he reads them with such expression and empathy. I enjoy hearing share his ideas and perspectives on the story afterwards, still leaving plenty of room for my own thoughts. I highly recommend this to everyone.

My new favourite podcast before sleeping

I have been really enjoying these stories, especially as most of the authors I have not heard of before and I have read a lot of fiction. LeVar is an excellent narrator with a very calming voice. Can I suggest that Margo Lanagan or Lawrence Block for a future episode?
