    The night I was taken

In this episode of Luna Voices, I share the full story of what happened on the night I was assaulted — how I was taken away, the moments that signalled danger, and how I managed to escape. I tell this story not for shock, and not for sympathy, but for awareness. These situations don’t always look the way we expect them to. There is often no alcohol, no chaos, and no obvious warning — just calculated behaviour, confusion, and silence. This episode is shared from lived experience, without graphic detail, and with the intention of helping others recognise signs, trust their instincts, and understand that survival — and delayed impact — are both real. Listener discretion is advised. Please take care of yourself while listening, and pause or step away at any time. Content Note This episode discusses sexual assault and trauma in a non-graphic way.
