Can a smile save a life? - with Dr Robb Kelly PHD | VIDEO | Mark MI Words

Can a smile save a life? That's the question our guest leaves us with today. The long walk to suicide a lonely one. Maybe your intervention, your love, can halt that walk in its tracks. Robb Kelly, PhD – The Recovery Expert – was born in Manchester England. He grew up in a family of musicians and developed a strong love for music at an early age. he managed to stay on a path of success with a PhD in psychology in prestigious University of Oxford. No one would have predicted, that he would be living on the streets of Manchester, an addict homeless and alone. He recalls the night where he had a staggering revelation when it came to his own alcoholism. Dr. Kelly has witnessed the miracle of recovery – he has worked with thousands of people living with mental illness and addiction, who appeared just as desperate and hopeless as he did, and he has helped lead them to the solution of permanent recovery. His personal slogan, “Step out of the disease, and into the Solution” was created from his own philosophy of recovery. In the Line of Duty: Cops V’s Mental illness | VIDEO | Mark MI Words

I have the privilege of speaking to police recruits about my mental illness — and about the moments when police have met me at my worst, in the middle of a mental health crisis. I don’t give them theory. I give them a story. A real one. A raw one. One that shows what it feels like when the uniform arrives, when the world is spinning, and when the difference between escalation and safety comes down to a single human choice. This is that story… ▶ WATCH MORE VIDEOS… ✅ SO DO I - Bipolar Without Shame - Professor Pakesta Washington | Mark MI Words 👉 This Video Link: https://youtu.be/DULv4e_Otj4 ✅ 'Unseen Heroes' The Quiet Wounds - Lan Baker | ANZAC Day | Mark MI Words 👉 This Video Link: https://youtu.be/VlFv_g-KWas ✅ The Nightmare of Being Told to 'Get Over it' | Mark MI Words 👉This Video Link: https://youtube.com/shorts/UYMRoEvmyb8 ✅ Life Beyond Trauma - A Conversation With Devin Fish | Mark MI Words 👉This Video Link: https://youtu.be/QV4LXuWK5T8 ✅ Anger and mental illness | Mark MI Words 👉 This Video Link: https://youtu.be/dDoqOqLhXZo 🔥 DON’T FORGET: Get connected with me on Various Platforms. Texas Lawman - Invisible Wounds - a conversation with Sgt Tom Lee | VIDEO | Mark MI Words

Today on Mark MI Words we welcome Sgt Tom Lee. Tom has been shot at, lied about, fired, praised, rebuilt, broken, and redeemed — and somehow, he’s still on the job. For more than twenty‑three years he’s been on the front line of Texas law enforcement. University patrols, city policing, a Sheriff’s Office Mental Health Sergeant — he’s walked into the places most people cross the street to avoid. His work has taken him into the darkest corners of crisis and forced him to wrestle with the biggest questions of faith, purpose, and survival. Today, Tom is a mental‑health leader in law enforcement, president of a regional Critical Incident Stress Management team, and a speaker who talks about resilience, trauma, and redemption with the authority of someone who’s lived every word. His memoir, Scars of the Badge, takes readers behind the uniform — into the wounds you carry, the politics that try to break you, and the faith that stitches you back together. You can find the book and connect with Tom @ www.scarsofthebadge.com or @ www.facebook.com/tom.aubrey.lee ▶ WATCH MORE VIDEOS…✅ Unseen Heroes 2 - SGT Tommy Anderson | Mark MI Words 👉 This Video Link: https://youtu.be/pgeI-fKfFjA✅ SO DO I - Bipolar Without Shame - Professor Pakesta Washington | Mark MI Words👉 This Video Link: https://youtu.be/DULv4e_Otj4✅ 'Unseen Heroes' The Quiet Wounds - Lan Baker | ANZAC Day | Mark MI Words👉 This Video Link: https://youtu.be/VlFv_g-KWas✅ The Nightmare of Being Told to 'Get Over it' | Mark MI Words👉This Video Link: https://youtube.com/shorts/UYMRoEvmyb8✅ Life Beyond Trauma - A Conversation With Devin Fish | Mark MI Words👉This Video Link: https://youtu.be/QV4LXuWK5T8🔥 DON’T FORGET:Get connected with me on Various Platforms. Unseen heroes 2 - SGT Tommy Anderson | VIDEO | Mark MI Words

It's not just the door kickers who served in the front lines that came home with invisible wounds. It was also the men and women who repaired their equipment and who ensured their weapons would work every time. They worked in the same dust and smoke as the door-kickers. They shared the same dangers, slept in the same hoochs and shred the loneliness away from their friends and families. They are the soldiers who have the hardest time accepting that they may have suffered the invisible wounds. SGT Tommy Anderson is one of these men. Today's he shares some of his experiences. His honesty and vulnerability shine through. If you are a soldier who wonders if you're alone in your pain - you need to listen today. ▶ WATCH MORE VIDEOS… ✅ SO DO I - Bipolar Without Shame - Professor Pakesta Washington | Mark MI Words 👉 This Video Link: https://youtu.be/DULv4e_Otj4 ✅ 'Unseen Heroes' The Quiet Wounds - Lan Baker | ANZAC Day | Mark MI Words 👉 This Video Link: https://youtu.be/VlFv_g-KWas ✅ The Nightmare of Being Told to 'Get Over it' | Mark MI Words 👉This Video Link: https://youtube.com/shorts/UYMRoEvmyb8 ✅ Life Beyond Trauma - A Conversation With Devin Fish | Mark MI Words 👉This Video Link: https://youtu.be/QV4LXuWK5T8 ✅ Anger and mental illness | Mark MI Words 👉 This Video Link: https://youtu.be/dDoqOqLhXZo 🔥 DON’T FORGET: Get connected with me on Various Platforms.
