A fantastic first season. Can't wait for more.

Set on Mars as a new colony wakes from cryosleep to find themselves in crisis with no ready answers as to what has gone wrong and why, this is a great podcast for anyone who likes their Sci-Fi served up with mystery and drama.
This excellent show manages to keep a cracking pace, create engaging characters, and keep those characters in a natural and organic conflict that grows out of the survival situation they find themselves in. Thanks to the unique structure of framing each episode from a different character's point of view, you grow to understand each character's side of the story, leading to a more layered appreciation of why they find themselves at cross purposes. This format also gives us little clues into the various mysteries at play in the story, as each character holds different pieces of the puzzle. That might make it sound complicated, but it's surprisingly easy to follow.
There are some fantastic performances, particularly Shannon Lovley, who brings a lot of heart to the character of Jacki (commander of the colony) and Dan Lovley who gives a very nuanced performance as the colony AI. Production is also top-notch. One episode does an amazing job at putting you in the middle of a firefight, and there are a lot of other nice touches throughout the first season.
