I listened in full to both series 1 - Alberta williams and series 2 Finding Cleo. I still think about the Cleo story in 2024 years after I listened. It’s a good podcast and worth listening too. The journalist, Connie, is a gifted story teller. Both stories contained in the podcast (Who killed Alberta Williams and Finding Cleo) are compelling. Connie has such sensitivity for the story, the subject and the families involved. I very much hope that this team can deliver more podcasts as they are such a high quality. However I would prefer if each series was in its own podcast. So I came here to listen to “finding Cleo” as depicted by the photograph and graphic and found the first ten or so episodes were about Alberta Williams. To give each series it’s own podcast, title, graphics and photo would be a tidier way to present them. (See the teachers pet or Bowraville as an example) that’s my only critisim. It’s well researched and well delivered.

This didn’t just happen in Canada, Australia did it to and we are paying for it Aboriginal people still hate white Australians YET we didn’t do it it was the government and churches.
This is a common story - common to Aboriginal Australians, too

I cried listening to this - because it reminded me of my own people here in Australia. My Nana was stolen, had her culture and language beaten out of her, and worked as a domestic slave for white property owners. As a result her children, including my dad, and her grandchildren, including me, have been disconnected from our Wiradjuri (Aborignal) culture and language too. Very sad. Aboriginal kids here complete suicide way more than their white (colonisers) counterparts do, too.
Not for me

Listened to the first series (on Alberta Williams) but a couple of episodes into this Cleo series - I've had enough of both the subject and Connie Walker. Sorry but I just don't like it
