My go to guide!

This podcast was my best friend when I was going through IVF. Relatable, informative and light even discussing heavy topics, which made it a positive experience to listen to and sets it apart from other podcasts. It really helped me along the way to prepare for what’s happening and understand it. I found IVF incredibly difficult and lonely, from dealing with the inability to conceive to the crazy hormones and managing a work and social life. I listened to it on the bus on my way home from work and shared parts with my husband on the weekends. It mentally helped me to prepare and feel at ease with the process, particularly listening on our way to the clinic for my egg collection and excitedly hearing about the “Vein champagne!”.
Jess (whoever you are) you are a very special person to me for helping me through the process. And my amazing fertility specialist Dr Alison Gee. I’m now 18 weeks pregnant, happy and healthy - THANK YOU, I LOVE YOU!
And Genea please tell your patients about this amazing podcast! I had to hear about it on a radio ad.

Great podcast series!

Highly recommend for anyone on their journey to a family. Covers so many topics in easy to understand language. Stories from real people about their struggles to have a baby are so interesting, I often had to wait in my car listening until they finished!

Wasn’t keen

This podcast sounded very scripted and edited. Possibly a personal preference, but being such a sensitive topic, I feel it needs to be a real conversation, with detailed answers. When you spoke to the guy about his semen analysis, he couldn’t even say “they ordered a semen analysis to check the quality of my semen”.

I personally knew what he was talking about because my partner has had it done, but if your going to do a podcast on fertility, more depth to questions and answers should be given.

I have only listened to the first podcast as I found it quite hard to enjoy when all I could picture was 2 people reading off some paper.
