Great, but...

Great pod cast, but the ads begin in the middle of a sentence, usually the last sentence of the essay? What’s that about?
The magic has been lost

I don’t understand the decision to change to this piecemeal interview style rather than just reading the essay. Particularly when the commentary is released first. I don’t listen in the car any more because it is too hard to skip back and forth to find the actual essay reading.

This podcast has got me through some dark times.
Old format was better - Please read the essay
04/10/2023
The essay is the art. I used to love this podcast but the old format where the essay was fully read without so much interruption was much better. Now the format is that a small part is read and then it turn into an interview. It’s no longer about the beauty and creativity of the flow of the essey. It’s hard to enjoy.
Bring back the old format

I hate the new format and miss the old podcast, such a shame. The beauty was hearing the fully essays - the nuance and storytelling. By all means add the interviews and reflections but it’s empty without hearing the essay in full.
Miss the old

Please bring back the old format or at least read the entirety of an essay before beginning the commentary. For example, all I wanted was to hear Jay Shetty’s entire essay. Instead, extracts were read in piecemeal bites between the commentary…

Oh my, I’m so addicted. The essays are great but the readers voices are what I find on point. Perfection!
When getting old....

What’s with the background music?????? Coming and going - really disconcerting. Prevents from settling into the story - sounds very amateurishly produced.
