A non-nerd nerd

I find this show very entertaining, and the host clearly love and are very knowledgeable about their topics. But I think more work needs to be done to explain things for those who don't have more than a passing knowledge of the topics. I just listened to the table top games episode, and am really still not much more clearer on what constitutes a ttg or how they work.

However, I totally understand the team has to walk a fine line between appealing to non-nerds (or, like me nerds in other areas) and full-on nerds. I think their passion (particularly Ify's-sorry) for the subject makes them forget to explain things that they accept as common knowledge.

I will definitely continue to listen.

Listened to you’re Nintendo podcast anddd now I got a switch in my room because hearing you guys talk about wii Mario kart made my really miss it.
So I convinced my GF it was essential we bought a switch!!

Hard work to listen to

This really hurts to write an unfavourable review about one of the HowStuffWorks stable of podcasts.

We really looked forward to listening to another SYSK treat.

This one Has the potential to be a great podcast. The topics are really appealing if only the hosts would stop trying so hard to be dynamic and funny. Unfortunately what works well for standup comedy routines just becomes loud, irritating and annoying pretty quickly. We gave up on this one after the first 3 episodes.
