    Natural and Logical Consequences

Even I have a difficult time figuring out what the heck everyone is talking about. It’s not just punishments anymore. Now we have logical consequences and natural consequences and regular consequences? Do I have that right, they are all different? I am finding it more and more confusing. I attempt to make a distinction in this episode. Let me know what you think. Leave us a rating and tell us your thoughts on this episode.

Our Child’s Inner Voice Can Be Derived From How We Speak and Act

Our Child’s Inner Voice Can Be Derived From How We Speak and Act

Even if we are doing away with punishments we can still have a critical attitude when it comes to our children. Those criticisms and judgments might stick deeper than all of the positive things we are experiencing with our kids each day. Our mind processes positive and negative things differently. Unfortunately, the negative things become our focus. When they do, can they get stuck in our inner speak? How can we help our kids gain positive inner speak?

Scarcity and How It Plays Out in Parenting

Scarcity and How It Plays Out in Parenting

What does scarcity have to do with parenting? Are there moments in our parenting where we are creating more desire where we don’t necessarily need to be? Do things that feel scarce end up being more sought after just because they are scarce? How can we make things a bit easier for ourselves in order to unwind this tight string?

How Do We Teach Our Children Empathy

How Do We Teach Our Children Empathy

We all want our children to be empathic, but how do we teach it, and is it teachable or do we leave it up to nature? I am solo this week answering a question from my podcast editor and his wife. I think we all have this question…how do we make sure our children care about other people? Listen in as I give some ideas that might be helpful to you too.

Breath of Fresh Air!

Love listening to your podcast, it’s helped me tremendously. Keep them coming. I love how genuine you both are and that your only human and still make mistakes and not just saying that everything is going great. I make mistakes too but always try to be better. Thank you!

TaraKayeClarke ,

Thank you!

This podcast came at a really important time for me. I work full time and I have three kids (6,4 and 18 months) and I felt I was battling a lot of behaviours due to us always being away from each other and my stress due to managing work/home/family. I have been using a lot of your strategies which have really helped reconnect us all and reduce my guilt over working all the time.
I would LOVE to hear more about or from women who also have to work full time and how they manage special time and the mum guilt which never goes away.
