Pendulum
She was a vibrant young woman with plenty of friends: a daughter a sister, a wife and mum to two small children. Why did Margaret Kirstenfeldt suffer a violent, bloody death in the tiny Queensland cane town of Sarina? From murder to suicide and back again - expert opinions have swung wildly. It’s been more than 40 years. Is a killer still on the run?
So well done!

Such a well made podcast about an important story. Quite frankly a heartbreaking story that should be more well known in Australia. If only both Margaret and Queenie had received the justice they deserved. My only constructive criticism is that there was a bit too much repetition over the episodes.

It was a different time. No domestic violence laws. Kids who were abused often didn’t tell anyone. rape was so common. When people say “the good old days” I often think for women and kids things are much better now. I grew up in the 1970s and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Great podcast. She was murdered.

Thank you so much for pursuing justice for Queenie. The respectful handover of Aunty Queenie is truly illuminating. She could have just been a sidebar in the story, but in a way her family and Queenie have some comfort.
