All three:
— know a lot about media and technology
— have left big companies behind, points for that
— are dads?
— have no boomer energy, and only occasional X vibes
— will remain relevant for years. they work at it, and are unlikely give up and sook about a changing world, or no more than most.
## The team:
— the one spent years in news rooms and is successfully indie now.
—-Points for: the scrappy quick talkin thing, and his refrain of staying human and small and ditching stale formulas.
— the techie/gamer one, who says less, but nails it usually. I think he might be the crowd favourite some days.
—- Points for: cool = not being worried about being cool.
— the one who ran a huge media conglomerate, but is quite relatable nonetheless.
—-Points for giving and taking a rinsing pretty well, and mentioning his neurodivergence only once so far. Jokes aside, I’m spectrum too. Feel free to talk more about that.
(I’ll bet there’s a greater than average slice of neuro-divergent listeners to PVA. (This show sticks like glue) I suspect it suits those kind of brains, like mine)
## Summary:
— Informative, insightful, entertaining.
— varied team but with enough congruent experience and interests
—- diverge, and converge, usefully. No artificial agreement or beef.
— they gossip entertainingly
— but know they've earned attention legitimately
— and that their listeners want a fairly protein rich product
— I think their audience get that it’s also an entertainment choice and not to get mad about takes.
—- a good product market fit and hosts can speak freely
—- The gloves stay on mostly, thanks to the low-key love and respect between them.
— its not lean meat, it’s minimally processed, and the sauce is good.
