S4E15 Evo Terra talks growing a podcast audience

S4E15 Evo Terra talks growing a podcast audience

Evo Terra, host of Podcast Pontifications, talked last episode about podcast strategy and episode planning. He’s back with Nick Schildberger and Nicole Goodman to discuss how to grow an audience. Evo emphasises the importance of getting the fundamentals right, first and foremost.

This includes a proper podcast website, distributing the podcast through all available channels, planning to leverage your existing relationships, and at all times make sure you are creating remarkable content.

One thing’s for sure though, you can’t grow what you don’t know. Once you have a clear understanding of who your audience is and where and how they consume content, only then can you move on to growing your listener base.

S4E10 Pandemic podcasting predictions with James Cridland

Which he confirms is great for brands and advertisers in the space, or for those considering it. He talks to Nick Schildberger about this and everything from big consolidations, to caution around auto-transcript functionality. He also ponders the approach of Google and Apple and has a few interesting thoughts about Joe Rogan.
