Atmospheric and Entertaining

Great stories, expertly curated. A nice mix of the old greats with some chilling and rich newcomers mixed in. My favourite way to chase that ever-elusive chill-down-my-spine feeling that the spookiest of stories gives me.

The rat king of horror podcasts

It’s honestly crazy to me that this podcast doesn’t have more glowing reviews! I’ve been listening to Pseudopod for years and am consistently so impressed with the variety of quality horror on offer. The selection of stories is perfect, from classic authors to first timers, all of which are interesting in some way even they’re not my thing. I love the minimal production style and that the stories speak for themselves with only simple but effective narration. Most importantly, it’s introduced me to some of the most terrifying horror I have ever experienced — characters and beasties and moments that will stay in the dark corners of my mind forever.
