Crispin, P.I.

This podcast feels like a search for truth, thus I invoke a ridiculous mustachioed P.I. pun in this review title. Forgive me.

I appreciate the guests I’ve encountered through listening. There’s an impressive array of subject throughout the episodes. I’m not always aligned with what’s being said, but I enjoy hearing the perspectives.

I like the usual format (the interviews/discussions), yet 2 recent episodes that deviate have been engaging for me as well. The genial conversation with Jennifer Porto was a good listen and a welcome follow up to their episode about art. Also, the Writer’s Manifesto episode offered me good insight into what’s been resonating for Jessa recently.

Thanks for a quality podcast, Jessa Crispin!

Public Intellectual with Jessa Crispin

Can’t say I always agree with her and her interviewees, but she’s funny, incisive, challenging and yes, sincere.
