This is my first post new job podcast, I am back baby!!!!! And what a way to come back! I got to chat with bestselling author Fiona Lowe!!! What a treat!!!! The Accident is an incredible book,  I was so lucky to read an early copy and super lucky to chat with Fiona about it and goodness, women choosing not to have children, women desperately wanting children, grief and weddings..we cover a lot!!! Hope you find it interesting and spoiler free; I am super conscious of the fact you may not have had a chance to read The Accident yet! But you will be wanting to bump it up after listening to Fiona! She is wonderful! 
I also left our chat in at the end which was just chitchat, Fiona asked about my job and I thought I should leave it in there so I can apologise for wanting you to come back to my podcast even though I've completely been MIA for so long! I'm managing the Dymocks Bondi Junction store and it was a steeper learning curve than I was ready for, but that makes it even better and more rewarding to be back!!! I've got a few more chats to edit and get out which I look very much forward to doing next and there are so many fab authors I want to talk with now I can see the forest for the trees..please slot me back in to your bookish podcast rotation! 
I also wanted to shout out to my friend Elysabeth who I mention in the chat; Toothless is a fantastic small business that I love love love and her creativity is next level, my nieces and nephews all have one of Elisabeth's tooth fairy pillows and we all love them so much!!!

This is a 'pre new job' chat that has just been sitting waiting patiently to be edited and goodness I had forgotten what a great chat it had been! I loved the opportunity to talk with Saman Shad; so clever, so insightful, so fun and so funny!!
I love me some romance and this just gave me all the feels, but also left me with so much to think about and through, I loved it!

I only just spoke to Kell Woods this afternoon and I've edited and here is it!! I want to be able to get these out as soon as possible, I just need to let in a few more umms and arhhhs so I'm not sitting on the intelligence and talent that are these authors for too long! Kell is launching After The Forest in Sydney tomorrow so I very much wanted to get this chat out today. And goodness it was such a great chat, she is just the best! Hope you love the conversation, and the novel as much as I do! It's such a cracker of a story!!

I just am flat out learning a new job, not Camille Booker; she is the ultimate in a busy person, I think, as a reader, it's so fascinating to see the work and talent that goes into being an author. I loved What If You Fly, I cannot wait to read whatever Camille Booker writes next and it's just so cool to see beyond the words to see the process! 
So much talent, drive and gratitude; I just love Camille Booker! I'm SO glad she is pursuing the writing dream

Gosh this has been a LONG time coming, I've been so busy learning a new job and then so behind but I am BACK BABY!! And first edit off the rank is a great one! Put Your Feet In The Dirt, Girl is an incredibly easy memoir to read that I am still thinking about months later!!!! First Nations health and the state of rural health in our country should be of concern to all of us as Australians. This book talks about it so frankly and without any airs or graces. This is a memoir we should all be reading and talking about. I loved the chance to sit down and chat with Dr Sonia Henry and I hope you get something out of the conversation too! Let me know what you think, and ahh it's just so good to be back!!!!
