Customer Reviews
Exceptional!
I have always been fascinated by history and had some understanding of most dictators. These episodes bring so much valuable information, depth and insight to the subject in an engaging and easy listening format. I’m thoroughly enjoying it. Thank you for all the effort that must have gone into such well researched content.
Fantastic
Extremely well researched & presented. High quality production values. Complex history presented in an engaging & accessible way. I don’t have the time to sit and read a 6 inch thick book on the life of Pol Pot but I can listen to a pod cast about him while I work. I get an excellent overview of his life and machinations concentrating on the most salient points. Anybody who expects a pod cast like this to present an in depth coverage of every aspect of an individuals life, their times and how the effects of that time ripple through history is missing the point.
This gives the bones and structure to begin to pique interest, then its time to pick up the six inch book and go deeper.
Beautiful Story Telling
This is a very insightful and informative podcast. The story telling is the most outstanding and it makes it very engaging. Thank you for the producer and contributors.
