#040 MRT ...travel burnout, anxiety, slowing down, integration of experiences and more

You are not a before and after story - you are ever-changing and evolving. While I ordinarily chat with travelers, nomads and global citizens about their journey to how they are thriving in this lifestyle, in this MRT (my road to..) segment, I share my personal (and messy) journey as it evolves. Each episode I share what I have learned and put into practice in my own life around travel and pursuing a life of freedom. In this week's episode, I chat about:

    - being on the edge of travel burnout

    - navigating travel anxiety

    - the power of slowing down

    - the importance of integrating travel experiences

#037 Forgoing ‘real’ jobs for different ways of working, Only Fans, owning your worth, pursuing your passions and more with Lars Born

In this episode, I sit down with Lars Born to talk about all things pursuing passions and alternative work. Lars is a traveller and creator who is passionate about pursuing life on his own terms. After a short stint of trying corporate life, he decided to go all in with pursuing passion his passion for life, travel and content creation. Forgoing a ‘real’ job, he flew to asia and then returned to the UK to travel and live in his van, all while experimenting with re-selling, content creation, odd jobs and his most recent experiment with Only Fans. In this episode, we take a deep dive into the stigma of not getting a ‘real’ job, the true cost of pursuing your passions and of course, diving into his most recent experiment with creating on Only Fans and the metaphor for letting go of stigma to pursue our passions and joy, regardless of what people may think of us.

#036 MY ROAD TO… working on the road - unlearning ‘full-time’ work, freelancing, how AI has completely transformed the way I work online, and more

What do the 4-hour-work-week and AI have in common? Well, both have completely shifted my perspective on the traditional narrative around the 40-hour work week. In my last solo last episode, I touched on working from the road, but lately, there have been some shifts around what it looks like to work on the road. So I thought I would do a full episode on working on the road. Chatting about how I have started using AI, how I'm considering getting an assistant (as a low-income earner), my priorities for working on the road and more.

Listening while lime picking

I LOVE this podcast so much. I really enjoy discovering people’s stories, backgrounds, the road they have travelled to where they are now & what they’ve learned along the way. The importance of well-being & how people cultivate their own well being differently.

Currently on a break from road tripping, picking limes - this podcast has got me so excited to be back exploring. Love love love listening
