I’ve been listening to Rob and Jamie since episode. 3 so arguably this review is overdue. These guys are awesomely funny (think the best of British comedy) and are super skilled at making the history come alive. They use puns, jokes, and witty banter to keep the audience engaged and entertained, whilst remaining genuine and grounded. Totalus Rankium is a great podcast for both history buffs and casual listeners. They explain complex topics in a way that is easy to understand, without sacrificing depth or accuracy (except when openly declaring when they need to fill in the gaps... and wow, be prepared to be in pain from laughter when they do) Overall, Totalus Rankium is a great in the world of podcasts, The fact that they have become hugely influential in inspiring the global wave of “Rexy” podcasts ( based on the also fantastic “Rex Factor” history podcast) is testament to their superlative take on History. This podcast has also been a very important source of happiness and joy forme during a very tough part of my life. Thank you both for being there for me and many others all over the world:) If you're interested in accessing the best history podcast since Mike Duncan joined the fray, then I highly recommend giving them a listen! (be careful if you’re eating while listening to them too, laughter is a choking hazard).
