    Bible STDY: Live In Love, Thrive In Christ

    Love is an integral part of our walk with Christ. From our relationship with God, ourselves others and everything in between, love needs to be at the center of it all. In the Bible Jesus was asked what's the greatest commandments in the law, to which He replied: " 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 The second is like it, "‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for others].’ 40 The whole Law and the [writings of the] Prophets depend on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:35-40 AMP). It is through God's love for which we are even saved! By His grace through our faith in Jesus Christ, He exemplified His love for us by dying on cross to pay for our sins and rising 3 days later defeating both sin and death, making us free from them through Him. Like talk about love! But today we're focusing on a part that many of us DNT always apply and that's loving ourself part. How can we properly love our neighbor if we DNT love ourselves?! You may want to, but DNT know where to start. How do you love yourself? How do you love others? You seek deeper intimacy with our Lord Jesus Christ. We love because He first loved us, so no one better to learn from than our Groom, Himself! #Jointheconvo as we discuss how to apply Biblical principals to Live In Love.

    Hi RTSTC Saints! Welcome or welcome back to RTSTC Truth Radio! You may already be familiar with 'Taking My Own Advice' because that was my personal podcast, but the Lord told me if was time to serve more people which is an answered prayer. One way in which I've been led to do so was by transforming the podcast to what is now better known as the 'RTSTC Truth Radio' show. So as an homage to what was and what God is doing through us now, 'Taking My Own Advice' is now a segment. In this episode, I discuss how the essence of the name was Biblical the whole time and I had no idea, but God knew. The Holy Spirit gave me the name in 2020 as I was at my old job thinking about my childhood dream of having my own advice column in my own magazine, how I've been giving sound advice for as long as I could remember, knowing better, but not doing better and I was ready to be better. As I was reading Nehemiah for my personal quiet time with the Lord, the Holy Spirit was like this is the first episode for Bible STDY on RTSTC Truth Radio! I want to personally thank my sis in Christ, Sterling of Heart Evolved (check our her and her twin sister's Christian Candle company) who asked me about doing a Bible STDY months ago. I felt honored and inadequate at the same time... isn't that something?! God will use our feelings of inadequacy to show us He can and will use it for His glory!
