In the 80s, Rike Casper gained recognition with the LP Amethyst, which was highly praised in Winfried Trenkler’s cult radio show “Schwingungen”. Alias Drone’s album is a thought-provoking exploration of the romantic promise of outer space. The group Dark Sky, a collective of four master musicians, brings a wholly unique style and sound to our podcast, with new wave guitar flourishes, tribal ambient percussion, richly layered synth-beds and cinematic crescendos. And finally, Enrico Coniglio’s approach to ambient music promises to transport audiences to uncharted realms of delicate emotions.

As they say, better late than never. We are really busy with other non-related music works and are shortly getting ready to sell our property in Australia and business here before returning to the UK permanently.

Just five bands and musicians are making their debut on Sequences. We hear about the new project by ex-Tangerine Dream member Johannes Schmoelling and sound design luminary Kurt Ader! With their second album, Hydragate, s475e, which composes and produces electronic music combining ambient and “classical” electronic music with progressive elements. The unusually named seven-piece band Godspeed You Black Emperor uses guitars, violins, drums, glockenspiel, etc.; their album is about all of us waiting for the end. Giants of Discovery is a UK electronic artist of Victorian cosmic horror, Greek mythology, and modular soundscapes, with Alex Bell’s contribution to Tone Science no 9, polyrhythmic synth sequences dancing in spring reverb tape echo and modern glitches.

This edition’s lineup brings many of the regular artist’s new albums we’ve supported over many years.
With David Wright’s 30th solo release ‘Fade’, his music drifts between waves of gentle ambience and the dynamism of pulsating sequences. Hailing from the mystical isles of New Zealand, long-established Spotted Peccary Music artist Rudy Adrian. Steve Hillman has always been drawn to early music from the Medieval period onwards into the Renaissance and beyond, and this is shown in his new album ‘Vestiges’.
Jarguna, the Italian sonic alchemist Marco Billi’s new release ‘Hanami’ shimmers with luminous electronic ambience. Flip-Flap is pleased to announce the series of works chosen by Conrad Schnitzler and John 3:16 nine-track album The Pact, in which the American producer shows an enormous aptitude for combining different sound concepts such as industrial, post-metal, or dark wave.

We kick off with ‘Life Sidereal,’ which represents Erothyme’s journey, under the aegis of Blue Tech, into the world of analogue and modular synthesis.
